SIMONE DE BEAUVOIR, UNA LECTURA TRANSMODERNA
Framing it in her own memories and from a personal prism, Magda initially approaches the figure of Beauvoir considering the author in the autobiography of her work, and dwelling on her relationships and the tandem formed with Sartre. Once the person is considered, Magda turns to the author, entering into a discussion of "The Second Sex", and critically reviewing many of the positions adopted by Beauvoir in this work. Lastly, Magda analyzes the situation of a “transmodern feminism” examining its link with movements such as Existentialism and highlighting the challenges that still remain today regarding the conceptions that shape the image of women.

(De)colonization of women's status in the contemporary Chicana novel
Przedmiot badań stanowi proza autorstwa czołowych współczesnych pisarek chicanas: Sandry Cisneros, Any Castillo, Almy Luz Villanuevę, Heleny Maríę Viramontes, Margarity Cotę-Cárdenas oraz Erlindy Gonzales-Berry. This dissertation is devoted to the literary work of women who represent the Chicano community. This Mexican ethnic group living in the United States is characterized by its cultural disparity, formed by the interaction between its own ethnic culture and the dominant Anglo-Saxon culture. The main goal of this study is to analyze contemporary Chicana novel in terms of the specific situation of subordination of women of color that is depicted in it and to determine how that literature fits in with the Latin American decolonial critisism emerging in the 21st century. The study material includes novels written by leading contemporary women writers of Chicano literature: Sandra Cisneros, Ana Castillo, Alma Luz Villanueva, Helena María Viramontes, Margarita Cota-Cárdenas and Erlinda Gonzales-Berry.The research perspective based on key categories of subordination, that are coloniality of power, coloniality of knowledge, coloniality of being and coloniality of gender, allows us to analyze selected literary texts in terms of putting the experiences of the women representatives of the Chicano community in a wider system of oppression and to display the subversive character of Chicana literature, which – besides reflecting colonial tensions – exposes certain practices by which the protagonists are able to challenge the existing sociocultural order and gain some autonomy
Changes of selected park ambientes in Arboretum Volčji Potok from the Souvan family until today
Parkovne ureditve se od časa nastanka, izvedbe in sajenja rastlin stalno spreminjajo. V nalogi smo raziskovali spremembe v razvoju parkovnega prostora v parku Arboretum Volčji Potok. Med izbranimi prepoznavnimi območji smo ugotavljali razlike v zasnovi in zasaditvah, spremljali smo odnos različnih skupin anketirancev do prostora in izpostavili najbolj prepoznavne spremembe v kompoziciji in zaznavi prostora. Park design changes continuously from the time of its creation, through implementation, to the planting of vegetation. In this thesis, we studied the changes in Arboretum Volčji Potok park. Historically, we divided the interventions in the park into three periods: around the year 1900, around the year 1960, and in modern times, from 2000 to the present day. We analyzed the changes in the park across five selected and distinctly recognizable areas, whose designs can be traced from the time of the Souvan family to today: Parterre Park, the Outbuilding, the Great Lake, the Red Maple Lake, and the Castle ruins. Among the selected areas, we identified differences in design and plantings, monitored the relationship of different groups of respondents to the space, and highlighted the most recognizable changes in the composition and perception of the space. For each area, we conducted an analysis of the development from the time of the Souvan family to today and, based on analyses and comparisons of respondents\u27 perceptions in each of the selected areas, defined the parameters that influence perception. It can be concluded that the experience of the space in Arboretum Volčji Potok is particularly influenced by the morphology of the plant material and the setting of the area in a recognizable style. Plants in the selected areas appear in very diverse volumes, densities, and varieties, which are associated with plant growth. Respondents described the selected areas as open/closed, light/dark, pleasant/unpleasant, natural/man-made, and so on. Despite each individual perceiving and responding to the space differently, we found similarities in perception. Such data are interesting for understanding the process of change in park space from planting to the mature period of vegetation, as users of the space rate particular areas as more interesting and pleasant only after a certain period

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in graphic narratives that explore family histories, particularly focusing on women and their roles in daily life. Works such as El ala rota by Antonio Altarriba y Kim (2016), Estamos todas bien by Ana Penyas (2017) and Regreso al Edén by Paco Roca (2020) delve into the lives of mothers and grandmothers, aiming to reclaim their memories and acknowledge the significance of domestic and care labor, often overlooked in Spanish history. The graphic novels offer a dual representation, combining text and images to depict the struggles women faced in different historical periods and the inequalities embedded in domestic work. We aim to critically examine this societal change through literature, which blends history, sociology, and personal experience
The Inner Exile. Life and Literature of Carmen LaforetCarmen Laforet lives in the history of Spanish literature as the author of an extraordinary novel recognised with the Nadal Award Nada, 1944 who subsequently lapsed into a mysterious silence. Despite having published several works, including some noteworthy novels La isla de los demonios, 1952; La mujer nueva, 1955, La insolación, 1963, Laforet gradually abandoned the literary scene and her own writing, secluding herself into her inner world, a kind of self-exile driven by the need for privacy and independence, as well as her maladjustment and lack of rooting. The article seeks to delve into the imperatives and inhibitions which instigated that silence, identifiable both in her literary work and in the confessions to her relatives and letters she exchanged, among others, with the exiled Ramón J. Sender, with whom she maintained correspondence and a friendly relationship for many years Puedo contar contigo. Correspondencia, 2003. The Inner Exile.
