Type locality: Not given in the original description. Malaysian host: Cavia porcellus. Malaysian locality: Ampang (Selangor) Peninsular Malaysia (this paper). Geographical distribution: Worldwide, except Antarctica. Remarks: Gliricola porcelli was collected from a pet guinea pig in a veterinary clinic located in Ampang, Selangor, and identified by the first author (A.- R.K.). Dall'eloquenza verbale, limitata all'uso della voce dell'attore, si passa all'eloquenza del corpo, che avrà la sua massima esaltazione nel dramma diderottiano.
