Christian Worship: describing an profane rite as a way of understanding the liturgical rite of worship
The author narrates a "sport rite" relating its different characteristics to Christian worship. From this, he analyzes and makes some comments in order to generate new ideas. Without wishing to idolize or demonize the sporting event itself, he describes the ritual in the form of a cult, with the aim of relating to the nomenclature of a sacred rite called with objects, gestures, moments and spaces of a secular rite. The described rite is the final game of the American Volleyball Cup, held in the Celso Molmbach Gymnasium, in Sao Leopoldo, in which the Brazilian team played against the U.S. team

Colorado State University - Civil and Environmental Engineering.Includes bibliographical references.Better irrigation water management requires accurate estimates of crop water use. Modeling evapotranspiration (ET) using the surface energy balance approach and remote sensing data has been showing promising results, but the complex nature of heat and momentum transfers among land, plants, and atmosphere has imposed a challenge towards obtaining more accurate crop water consumptive use results. The project aims to improve estimates of crop ET by improving the estimation of sensible heat (H), the most critical component of the surface energy balance, through a combined application of remote sensing data and an aerodynamic temperature approach
Człowiek i medycyna w sztuce Margaret Edson "Dowcip"
The author analyses problems of disease, dying, and death addressed in a play by
Margaret Edson entitled Wit. Special attention is paid to the structure of meta-theatre
and the function of wit in the play. The author investigates limitations of reason in the
approach adopted by the doctors who take care of Vivian Bearing, and who subject
her to an excruciating experiment in order to achieve a potential research success.
She also discusses the protagonist’s attitude to literary works, dealing with her own
disease, to other people and to God. This offers an opportunity to ruminate on the
exact meaning of irretrievable loss involved in suffering. She also concentrates on
the attitude of the nurse who – thanks to her emotional intelligence and empathy –
accompanies Vivian on her way to death

This article will address technical and interpretative aspects in study and
performance in Elegy (2003-2009) by Edson Zampronha for cello and eletroacoustics.
Through study strategies and performance the author proposes to guide future
interpreters, from her personal experiences reporting its preparation of this work
process. The theoretical framework is based in De Andrade (2010) and Zampronha
Education and religion in advertising aimed at children
This article presents a theoretical and analytical reflection on the issue of education and religion in advertising aimed at children. It describes distinctive features of postmodernity – immediacy, consumerism and secularization – as constitutive elements of our time and characterizes media as a sort of all-powerful being that channels, processes, produces and disseminates these postmodern attributes, while offering products that form and shape the way of life of Western society. The article goes on to analyze the content of two advertisements, identifying in them the possible presence of an educational religious-theological discourse. It contends that there is an intrinsic relation between education and religion in advertising, one which strongly influences the learning, thinking and acting patterns of children through such practices as gaining power by what they consume and seeing consumption as a means to attain a more prominent position in this world. In advertising, forms of socialization are presented to children. Finally, it is suggested that one way to introduce and discuss advertisements in educational contexts is by reading and analyzing the narratives of advertising together with the children.</p

Educação e Religião na propaganda para crianças

Finally, it is suggested that one way to introduce and discuss advertisements in educational contexts is by reading and analyzing the narratives of advertising together with the children.
