    The study results showed that the incentives given to employees of marketing department of Bread Company MBO Jember were fairly good. The company gave material and non-material incentives; the material incentive given was equal to one percent of the sales earned by employees of the marketing department. Meanwhile, the non-material incentives were given in the form of verbal praise and gratitude directly by the company manager. The company provided an incentive with a specific purpose, one of which is to improve employee performance of marketing department. The performance of employees at marketing department of Bread Company MBO Jember was also fairlygood; they worked in accordance with the company's expectations and always hit the target of 30 stores every day. However, there are still problems related to the employees’ lateness in break time to go home; they often returned late to work or return to the company. The problem was due to lack of socialization and training on performance of employees at marketing department and the low level of employees’ education. The solution is that the company through the management of or managers should give direction or socialization on employee performance at marketing department. In addition, the company manager must tighten the process of recruitment of employees in order to gain employees with level of education in accordance with the company need

    The era of globalization is characterized by tight and full-of-risk competition. Human factor is an element that must be considered by the company. This research aimed to describe work discipline in order to maintain employees’ productivity at PT Lumiga Indah Selaras. The research used qualitative paradigm. Data analysis used the steps of data reduction, data presentation presented in a matrix then finally conclusion drawing. The step of data validity applied in this research was to assure that the data obtained had compatibility with the existing reality and high credibility by observation perseverance, triangulation, discussion with colleagues and reference adequacy. The research results of data analysis showed that the implementation of employee discipline applied within the company was in line with the company expectation. It is proved by the fact that the company was able to maintain its productivity per year and that the company won the consumers’ trust in accordance with the company's goal

    The aim of the research to describe marketing strategies of cooperative bags and luggage industry (intako) in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo after lapindo mud disaster. The research used sequential mixed method by using SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) analysis. The results showed that there was a change in the marketing strategies of the company before and after Lapindo mud disaster. In determining a more optimal new marketing strategy, there are several factors that could be the assessment for the company in developing the optimal new marketing strategies. Factors that can be the assessment are from the internal and external aspects of the company. From the internal aspect, it is performed by identifying strengths and weaknesses of the company while from the external aspect of the company, it is by identifying the opportunities and threats faced by the company. SWOT analysis of the results Intako cooperative is in a position consolidation, where the position of the company is more suitable for use growth defensive strategy.
