No full textIl contributo si propone di analizzare i due principali problemi filologici che contraddistinguono il testo delle Interpretationes Vergilianae di Tiberio Claudio Donato: (1)la relazione stemmatia tra i principali testimoni manoscritti, ed in particolare tra L (Laur. 45.15) e R (Reg. Lat. 1484); (2) il rapporto tra le note di commento e i lemmi virgiliani, che sono stati sottoposti ad un processo di "normalizzazione" sulla bse della tradizione diretta dell'Eneide. In entrambi i casi, le opinioni di H. Georgii, l'ultimo editore dell'opera (Lipsiae 1905-1906), necessitano di essere - almeno in gran parte - riviste
Note filologiche al 'De haeresibus' attribuito a Isidoro di Siviglia
No full textIl trattatello eresiologico De haeresibus (DH), attribuito a Isidoro di Siviglia, è tramandato da un unico manoscritto (R). Una consistente porzione del suo testo è tuttavia trasmessa anche dal cosiddetto Liber glossarum (LG), che contiene ben 38 annotazioni derivanti – in toto o in parte – da DH. L’analisi filologica e il confronto con le fonti parallele mostrano che il testo di LG è sicuramente indipendente (e spesso superiore) rispetto a quello di R e può dunque essere utilizzato con profitto per la constitutio textus di DH.The heresiological treatise De haeresibus (DH), attributed to Isidore of Seville, is transmitted by a single manuscript (R). However, a substantial portion of its text is also featured by the so-called Liber glossarum (LG), which contains as many as 38 annotations derived – in whole or in part – from DH. The philological analysis and the comparison with the parallel sources show that the text transmitted by LG is certainly independent (and often superior) to that of R and can therefore be profitably used for the constitutio textus of DH

Lat. 1484 (R)

"Chi è questa che vèn?" : Guinizzelli, Cavalcanti e la figura femminile
No full textAttraverso l’analisi di testi esemplari, l’articolo indaga la rappresentazione della figura femminile in Guido Guinizzelli e in Guido Cavalcanti, mettendo a fuoco il legame dell’uno con l’altro Guido come momento incipitario di una nuova poesia che poi sarà chiamata Dolce stil novo. Viene poi precisato il tema della donna angelo ritenuto cifra peculiare della femminilità stilnovista: su questo motivo pesano tuttavia evidenti fraintendimenti, basati soprattutto su una diffusa e travisante ricezione decorativa ed estetica piuttosto che filosofica dell’idea di angelo.S’appuyant sur quelques textes exemplaires, cette étude explore la représentation de la figure féminine chez Guido Guinizzelli et Guido Cavalcanti, en s’attachant au lien qui unit ces deux poètes et qui fonde une nouvelle expression poétique que l’on appellera « Dolce stil novo ». Dans le cadre de cette analyse, est évoqué également le thème de la femme-ange, que l’on tient pour un trait caractéristique de la féminité ‘stilnoviste’ : sur ce thème pèsent cependant d’évidents malentendus, dus avant tout à une réception décorative et esthétique, plutôt que philosophique, de l’idée d’ange

No full textIn this work, we introduce Volcano, a tool for the procedural generation of 3D models of swords. Unlike common procedural content generation tools, it exploits interactive evolution to reduce as much as possible the effort of the users during the generation process. Indeed, Volcano allows to forge the desired type of swords through a rather simple visual exploration of the design space. The 3D models generated with the tool can be directly used as game assets or further developed with a standard modeling software. A prototype of Volcano was tested by 30 users, including both students and game developers. The feedbacks received are very positive: tools like Volcano might be useful both for players, to create user contents, and for developers, to speed-up the design of game contents
Molten metal/die interaction: Die soldering
No full textIn high-pressure die-casting foundry of the aluminium alloys, the interaction between the molten metal and the steel die plays a key role to form surface defects. These are the result of geometric changes on the die surface caused by erosion, soldering and thermal fatigue phenomena. Among all, die soldering is one of the main causes of surface defects in diecastings. This phenomenon leads to the formation of intermetallic phases on the surface of the die, over which the liquid initially solders and then detaches partially and locally, thus leaving defects with different size on the final castings. In this work, the prediction of the increase of the soldered layer has been experimentally and numerically studied by means of a numerical process simulation software. The numerical results have shown a good agreement with the experimental data, thus making the implemented numerical model successfully applicable to industry
