Visible Light Communication: Importance and Thai Preparations
AbstractSince the Internet of Thing allows devices to be interconnected across communication networks, the demand for bandwidth in personal communication are growing rapidly as the number of devices increases. Moreover, the location estimation in an indoor environment requires a proper technology because the global positioning system cannot provide satisfactory accuracy. Thus, a visible light communication (VLC) technology is introduced so as to add extra capacity to an existing radio frequency infrastructure. In practice, the VLC can utilize the lighting system infrastructure to transmit data via light intensity together with illumination. Several VLC standards have been published by the visible light communication consortium (VLCC) and the institute of electrical and electronics engineers (IEEE) in 2003 and 2011 respectively. In the past five years, many researchers in Thailand have focused on both VLC basic research and technology implementation. Additionally, the inter-University co-operation known as LED-SmartCon has also been established by ECTI Association to promote the VLC technology in Thailand

Factors of national regulation of migration processes efficiency: the case study of people’s Republic of China
Since the times when China has started to implement economic reforms, regulation of national migration, especially in the direction from rural areas to large cities, has become one of the core issues in modernization of the whole system of its public management. Consequently, this issue has also become interesting for economic and sociological research. This article studies today’s peculiarities of internal labor migration in China and analyzes historic and contemporary forms of the migration policy implementation in this country. The author also discusses the major preconditions for its efficiency as well as opportunities for using certain instruments of Chinese migration policy in modernization of Thailand migration policy, taking into account contemporary economic, social and political challenges
Vancomycin continuous infusion dose optimization for the treatment of “MIC Creep” methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections in critically-ill Thai patients
Background:
Giving vancomycin to a patient with rapidly changing physiologic conditions that will affect its pharmacokinetics (PKs), such as critically-ill patient, is challenging. Moreover, the shifting phenomenon of vancomycin’s MIC of MRSA strain to the higher value, also known as “MIC Creep”, will escalate the difficulty to determine the optimum dose of vancomyin. Owing to the vancomycin’s desired pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) indices affording good clinical outcome for the treated patients, i.e AUC0-24/MIC ≥400mg.hr/L, extending the infusion was expected to ensure the achievement of this intended PK-PD indices. The objective of the present study was to determine the most appropriate continuous infusion vancomycin dosage regimen to treat “MIC Creep” MRSA infections in critically-ill Thai patients.
Methods:
Monte Carlo simulation by using 10,000 replications was performed for several vancomycin continuous dosage regimens with or without loading dose (LD). For dosage regimens without LD, the simulated vancomycin dose was ranging from 2g, 3g, and 4g every 24h. Loading dose ranging from 1-5g were simulated to the continuous infusion 2g as a maintenance dose (MD). While, LD ranging from 1g-4g and 1g-3g were simulated to the MD 3g and 4g, consecutively. Vancomycin concentrations were estimated from population PK study conducted in 212 Thai patients. The probability of target attainments (PTAs) of each dosage regimen were calculated from the number of simulated patients who achieved AUC24/MIC ≥400 for MIC 1.5mg/L and 2.0mg/L divided by total number of replication.
Results:
If PTA at least 80% was allowed as the threshold, continuous dosage regimen of 4g every 24h without LD, MD 3g with LD 2g-4g, and MD 4g with LD 2g-3g could afford the desired PTA for MRSA with MIC 1.5mg/L. No any continuous dosage regimen without LD and only dosage regimen given as MD 4g with LD 3g could afford PTA >80% for MRSA with MIC 2mg/L. However, if particular conditions required PTA >90%, only continuous dosage regimen of 4g every 24h without LD, MD 3g with LD 3g-4g, and MD 4g with LD 2g-3g could afford the desired PTA for MRSA with MIC 1.5mg/L. No any continuous dosage regimen with or without LD could afford PTA >90% for MRSA with MIC 2mg/L. All PTA achievement represented the PTA at steady state condition.
Conclusions:
Continuous dosage regimen of 4g/day without LD or at least 3g/day with LD 2g were needed to afford particular intended PTA achievement for MRSA with MIC 1.5mg/L. Continuous dosage regimen was not effectively used to treat MRSA with MIC 2mg/L. Finding of the present study could be used as a guidance in determining the best continuous dosage regimen in documented vancomycin treatment. Further study was needed to identify the risk of nephrotoxicity afforded by each dosage regimen.

Review of the Levitation Mass Method a Precision Mechanical Measurement Method
AbstractThis paper firstly has a brief review of the present status and future prospects of a method for precision mechanical based on the levitation mass method (LMM). The LMM has been proposed and improved by the author. The force generated by the actuator is measured as the inertial force of the mass levitated with sufficiently small friction using an aerostatic linear bearing and connected to the moving part of the actuator. During the measurement, the Doppler shift frequency of the laser beam reflected by the mass is measured with a high accuracy with the help of an optical interferometer. Subsequently, the velocity, position, acceleration, and inertial force of the mass are calculated using based on this frequency. Simultaneously, the current and voltage supplied to the actuator are measured
การจำแนกข้อความโดยใช้การเรียนรู้ของเครื่องสำหรับหนังสือราชการไทยText Classification Using Machine Learning for Thai Official Letters
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อกำหนดรูปแบบการจำแนกประเภทข้อความที่เหมาะสมที่สุดสำหรับการจัดประเภทข้อความหลายชั้นในโดเมนเอกสารทางราชการภาษาไทย ในการทดลองได้ทำการศึกษา โดยการสร้างตัวแยกประเภทข้อความโดยใช้ WangchanBERTa ซึ่งเป็นโมเดลภาษาไทยแบบฝึกล่วงหน้าร่วมกับตัวแบบดั้งเดิมที่เป็นที่นิยมและเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพ โมเดลจำแนกประเภททั้งหมดได้รับการปรับแต่งให้เหมาะสม และทำการฝึกฝนชุดข้อมูลองค์กร ซึ่งได้ประเมินจากเมตริกการประเมิน 4 แบบ ได้แก่ค่า Accuracy, Precision, Recall และ F1-score. ผลการทดลองแสดงให้เห็นว่า แบบจำลอง WangchanBERTa มีความแม่นยำสูงถึง 76% ซึ่งประสิทธิภาพดีกว่าแบบจำลองพื้นฐานอื่น ๆ และสามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้สำหรับหน่วยงานราชการไทย ในการจำแนกประเภทของหนังสือราชการไทยได้This article aims to determine the most suitable text classification model for creating a multi-class Text classification in the Thai official letter domain. An experimental study was conducted by creating text classifiers using WangchanBERTa, a Pre-trained Thai Language Model, along with other popular traditional ones and comparing their performance. All classifiers were fine-tuning and trained on the organization dataset. They were evaluated by four evaluation metrics: accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-scores. The experiment results showed that the WangchanBERTa model outperforms the baseline models with the highest accuracy of 76%. It can also be applied for Thai government organizations to classify types of Thai official letters
