    Dr. Ralph Beebe is a Quaker historian who has been associated with Newberg, George Fox College/University for many years. He is the author of several books that depict the history of Oregon Yearly Meeting and George College. Ralph Beebe is a strong pacifist, taking part in the Civil Rights movement and non-violent protests against the Vietnam war. Beebe holds and AB from GFU an MEd from Linfield, MA and PhD from Uof O. Taught high school history for 17years then 35 years at GFU now a professor emeritus. Beebe is the author of 8 books with more in the works.     Includes bibliographical references.The purpose of this study was to determine the level of preparedness of Fox Valley Technical College faculty for multicultural education. The demographics of the district population were changing rapidly, and faculty must be prepared to meet the needs of multicultural students. A survey was administered to full- and part-time faculty of Fox Valley Technical College. The survey was intended to collect data about levels of education and experience, perceived training needs, level of comfort with multicultural education and level of interest in further training. The data gathered was analyzed to determine the need for future training, training subjects, and the training formats preferred by faculty. The results of this research provide a basis on which to build future professional growth training at Fox Valley Technical College. The training for faculty will ensure higher success for both faculty and students
