CONFLICT MANAGEMENT OF ENTERPRISE
Konflikti so prisotni v našem vsakdanjem življenju.
V diplomskem seminarju smo najprej prikazali razumevanje konflikta. Nastajanje in potek konfliktov smo prikazali v neformalnih in formalnih organizacijskih procesih.
V praktičnem delu diplomskega seminarja smo prikazali in dokazali obstoj konfliktov v izbranem podjetju. In many cases, conflict in the workplace just seems to be a fact of life. We\u27ve all seen situations where different people with different goals and needs have come into conflict. And we\u27ve all seen the often-intense personal animosity that can result.
The fact that conflict exists, however, is not necessarily a bad thing: As long as it is resolved effectively, it can lead to personal and professional growth. In many cases, effective conflict resolution can make the difference between positive and negative outcomes.
The good news is that by resolving conflict successfully, you can solve many of the problems that it has brought to the surface, as well as getting benefits for company that you might not at first expect.
However, if conflict is not handled effectively, the results can be damaging. Conflicting goals can quickly turn into personal dislike. Teamwork breaks down. Talent is wasted as people disengage from their work. And it\u27s easy to end up in a vicious downward spiral of negativity and recrimination.
The discussion needed to resolve conflict expands people\u27s awareness of the situation, giving them an insight into how they can achieve their own goals without undermining those of other people.
To calm these situations down, it helps to take a positive approach to conflict resolution, where discussion is courteous and non-confrontational, and the focus is on issues rather than on individuals. If this is done, then, as long as people listen carefully and explore facts, issues and possible solutions properly, conflict can often be resolved effectively. And that is the point of managing conflicts

Soybean yield potencial in petric plinthosols: climate and economic interactions.
ABSTRACT: Soybean production in central Brazil predominantly occurs on ferralsols. However, increasing global demand has driven expansion into marginal areas with less suitable soils, particularly petric plinthosols. These soils present significant agronomic challenges, especially their heightened vulnerability to climatic variability. Nevertheless, some regions with petric plinthosols, such as parts of Tocantins state, have achieved surprisingly high soybean yields. Despite this production potential, research on soybean cultivation in petric plinthosols are still limited. Our study addresses this knowledge gap by evaluating how environmental conditions and management practices, particularly sowing dates, affect soybean yields in petric plinthosols compared to ferralsols. We also developed economic indicators to support sustainable production decisions. The results demonstrated that while high yields are achievable in petric plinthosols, these soils exhibit greater climate sensitivity than ferralsols. Environmental factor such as air humidity, mainly in the reproductive phase, is a limiting factor for higher yields. Notably, our economic analysis revealed that cost management impacts profitability more substantially than yield improvements, even under unfavourable conditions. This finding suggests that strategic farm management could make petric plinthosol cultivation economically viable despite their agronomic constraints
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Datasets collected from the experiments described in the paper R. Milijas, L. Markovic, A. Ivanovic, F. Petric and S. Bogdan, "A Comparison of LiDAR-based SLAM Systems for Control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles," 2021 International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (ICUAS), 2021, pp. 1148-1154, doi: 10.1109/ICUAS51884.2021.9476802.
The datasets consist of ROS bags which hold the UAV and LiDAR data, and of zip files which hold only the lidar data in binary format for non-ROS users
Accurate High-Frequency Modeling of the Input Admittance of PWM Grid-Connected VSCs
This article addresses high-frequency admittance modeling of current-controlled voltage source converters (VSCs). Recent studies have shown that harmonic instability may also occur at frequencies above the Nyquist frequency. To form an accurate multiple-frequency model in this frequency range, sidebands that originate from modulation and sampling must be examined. In this article, an accurate small-signal model is developed taking into account an adequate digital pulsewidth modulator (DPWM) representation, which allows to predict dependence of the frequency response on the steady-state dc (SS-dc) operating point. It is shown that when center-pulse sampling is implemented, pulsewidth modulation sidebands do not create additional loops leaving only sampling sidebands to be considered. Using the same approach as for SS-dc operation, a model that accurately represents admittance measurements during sinusoidal ac (S-ac) operation is developed. Its basis is a novel DPWM model suitable for S-ac regime, which allows to predict dependence of the VSC’s input admittance on the grid voltage magnitude. Experimental and simulated admittance measurements, performed on a single-phase two-level VSC during various SS-dc and S-ac regimes, match with the proposed models up to twice the sampling frequency
Analysis and DSP Implementation of Multi-sampled Three-Phase Current Controllers
This paper presents a method for current control of three-phase systems, realized using the multi-sampled pulse-width modulator (MS-PWM). The feedback signal is highly oversampled and filtered to obtain its average value with high noise suppression. Independently, the control update rate is chosen to be higher than double the switching frequency, which reduces delays due to calculation and digital modulation. In this way, the proposed strategy offers improved dynamic response compared to standard double-update PWM, while offering a high quality feedback signal, robust to noise sampling and aliasing. The analysis is verified using a standard digital signal processor TI f28379d and a Typhoon HIL 402 hardware-in-the-loop system that emulates an electric drive with a high-speed BLDC motor
Small-Signal Modeling of Phase-Shifted Digital PWM in Interleaved and Multilevel Converters
In this article, small-signal modeling of digital pulsewidth modulators (DPWMs) used in multicell voltage source converters (VSCs) is addressed. In addition to sampling and computation, DPWM introduces delay, which impairs VSC's dynamic performance and robustness. In order to take into account the influence of modulation delay, an accurate small-signal representation of DPWM is necessary. Here, modeling of multisampled bipolar and unipolar phase-shifted DPWMs for single-, double-, and multi-update strategies is presented. The simplest multilevel modulation of single-cell full-bridge VSCs, unipolar DPWM, is also covered by the analysis. The derived operating-point-dependent small-signal DPWM models are verified using simulated and experimental frequency response measurements up to four times the Nyquist frequency. Comparisons are also made with the models conventionally considered in the literature. Additionally, an approximate method is presented to model the influence of dead time on DPWM's small-signal dynamics. For the purposes of showcasing the importance of the proposed DPWM models, high-frequency admittance of a VSC employing multisampled multiupdate unipolar DPWM is modeled and verified in simulations and experiments
"Closing the R&D Gap, Evaluating the Sources of R&D Spending"
Both spending and tax policies have been implemented in the United States with the goal of stimulating private sector research and development (R&D). Karier questions whether current R&D policy, especially the research and experimentation tax credit, can contribute to closing the gap between nondefense expenditures on R&D in the United States and such expenditures in other countries, such as Japan and Germany. He also explores possible changes to our current R&D policy to make it more effective.
Models for Stationary Noise Propagation in Multi-sampled PWM Power Electronic Control Systems With Decimation
This article derives models for stationary noise propagation in multi-sampled control systems, taking decimation into account. It is explained how the decimation is either included deliberately, in case of multi-rate control, or inherently by the modulator, in case of multi-sampled pulsewidth modulation (MS-PWM). In the latter case, the decimation rate is determined by the switching frequency and the number of pulsewidth modulation (PWM) carriers. The proposed models are then used for digital filter design, with a goal of suppressing the decimation-related aliasing and attenuating noise, while considering the imposed impact on the dynamic response. The theory is verified in simulations and experimentally, confirming the assumed decimation mechanisms as well as the potentiality of MS-PWM to jointly enable high-bandwidth control and strong noise suppression. The experimental measurements are conducted on two hardware prototypes, comprising two-level and three-level dc-dc buck converters
