Media education takes the "media effects concept" and uses it to organize its own teaching practice. Theoretical dependence on media studies and the concept media effects leads media education to protectionism and normativity, which is reflected in the directive establishment of knowledge, skills and values pupils may acquire. This situation has negative effect on efforts of developing critical media thinking as independent on social authorities. Moreover, media education potentially reproduces the dominant modes of knowledge about media and society, without revealing them as social constructions. The theoretical basis for changing the paradigm of media education to become more critical and transformative practice able to form the student's personality as an autonomous, critical- thinking and committed citizen is presented in the second..

No full textAuthor: Petr Valenta Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after vertebroplasty Objectives: The aim of this paper is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about vertebroplasty and the facts leading to this procedure and to present a possible example of physiotherapeutic care in a specific case of a patient after percutaneous vertebroplasty. Methodology: The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and special. The theoretical part contains general knowledge of kinesiology of the spine, problems of compression fractures and osteoporosis and physiotherapeutic methods and procedures related to these diagnoses. All the information contained in the theoretical part has been taken from the literature. The special part of this bachelor thesis was prepared on the basis of a continuous professional practice in the period from 24 January to 4 February 2022 at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady. It is prepared as a case report of a patient after percutaneous vertebroplasty. It contains kinesiological analysis, records of the course of therapy, outcome kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. No full textThis thesis examines the role of Czech writer Edvard Valenta (1901-1978) in post-war Czechoslovakia journalism. The overview part of the paper tracks Valenta's texts published from 1945 to 1948 in Svobodné noviny and in magazine Dnešek. Attention is also devoted to Edvard Valenta's correspondence not only with many Czech writers, but also with his own family. Based on archival research and eyewitness accounts, this work tries to capture the life and the career of Czech journalist and writer Edvard Valenta, including his imprisonment after february 1948. The work focuses on the facts that were not known about Edvard Valenta yet, trying to organize them and to make them available for any further research or to organize them and to make them available for any further research or writing of Valenta's monography. Furthermore, the contemporary journalism situation is outlined as well as the political interventions into cultural issues. The selection part of the paper deals with the analysis of specific polemical texts among literary groups and authors with different political beliefs. The aim is to highlight the importance of Edvard Valenta in journalism field in the Third Republic and to highlight the inextricable connection of literature and journalism. Castle in Třeboň during the reign of last Rosenbergs.
No full textThe bachelor's thesis deals with a summary of the structural works, which took place at Třebon castle on the command of last two Rosenbergs nobles Vilem and Petr Vok of Rosenberg between the years 1565 - 1612. In the first chapter the thesis focuses on the castle itself, on its current and historical appearance and structural interventions which both Rosenbergs left to do. In the end of the chapter concludes the question of authorship of certain construction elements. In the next chapter, the author focuses more on the person of Vilem of Rosenberg and his role as a builder. The chapter is also supplemented with a brief recap of Vilem's life, and in the end deals with question of reasons of castle's reconstruction. The part about Petr Vok is solved in the same manner. In the end of this chapter is dealing the question of choosing the Třebon as a last family residence

No full textCílem mé práce je zhodnotit finanční zdraví výrobního podniku Valenta ZT s. r. o. Za pomocí veřejně dostupných zdrojů provedu finanční analýzu, která bude přínosná nejen pro vedení společnosti, případně i pro subjekty s ní spojené. Analýza bude provedena v období 2011-2015. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části popíši problematiku a nástroje finanční analýzy. V části praktické představím analyzovanou společnost, dále pak odvětví, ve kterém se podnik nachází a zpracuji finanční analýzu. Na závěr jednotlivé výstupy ohodnotím a navrhnu případná opatření.The target of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of manufacturing company Valenta ZT s.r.o. I shall do a financial analysis while using publicly available sources and documents. This analysis should be useful not only for the company itself, but also for other subjects connected with it. The analysis covers the period between years 2011 and 2015. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part, theoretical, will describe the matters and tools of financial analysis. Second, practical part, shall present the company and also the field in which the company operates. Financial analysis will also be presented in this second part. At the end of this thesis I shall evaluate the outcome of the analy-sis and propose few possible steps for the company
