    [ES] El “Molí de Peris”, considerado en el futuro PGOU de Petrés como Recurso de Interés Cultural y Patrimonial, ha sido una propiedad familiar durante años, por lo que se investigó su historia desde su construcción en el siglo XV por el Barón de Petrés. Se han estudiado las modificaciones que ha sufrido, dejando constancia gráfica de los datos obtenidos y realizando un estudio de su estilo arquitectónico, de los materiales y sus patologías utilizando técnicas como escáneres y cámaras termográficas, planteando una intervención de consolidación. Una vez constatadas las evoluciones del edificio se ha realizado una propuesta de intervención para rehabilitarlo dándole un uso residencial, manteniendo aspectos originales que mantengan el sello de los orígenes del edificio como son las muelas, pisos empedrados y aspecto exterior.[EN] The “Moli de Peris” considered in the General Plan of Petres as a resource for cultural and heritage interest, has been family owned for years, so his story was investigated since it was built in the fifteenth century by Baron Petres. We have studied the changes that have suffered, leaving graphic evidence of the data and conducting a study of their architectonic style, materials and their pathologies using techniques such as scanners and thermal imagers, posing a consolidation intervention.     The article presents a reading on the debates around the minimum income schemes (MIS) and the concept of poverty from the sociological point of view. It indicates the way in which the minimum income schemes have developed in Europe and what have been the common and distinctive elements according to their evolution over time, with particular attention to the role developed by the European Union. The Ingreso Minimo Vital (IMV) is described by comparing it with other experiences in other countries and analyzes its elements of strength and of weakness.Este artículo presenta una lectura sobre los debates en torno a los mínimum income schemes (MIS) y al concepto de pobreza desde el punto de vista de la sociología. Se señala el modo en el que los esquemas de rentas mínimas se han desarrollado en Europa y cuáles han sido los elementos comunes y distintivos según su evolución en el tiempo, con una atención particular al rol desarrollado por la Unión Europea. Se describe el Ingreso Mínimo Vital (IMV) comparándolo con otras experiencias en otros países y se analiza sus elementos de fuerza y sus puntos más críticos
