Modern treatment of childhood hepatoblastoma: what do clinicians and pathologists have to say to each other?
The aim of this report is to summarise the amount
of information, which must go back and forth from the
pathology department to the clinical ward in order to provide
state-of-the-art treatment for children with hepatoblastoma
(HB) at the beginning of the new millennium.
Said differently, our goal is to analyse how much present
knowledge of the histologic characteristics of HB influences
modern clinical practice
