Lathrobium tangi was previously known from Baishanzu Natural Reserve in Zhejiang. The new locality is about 9 kilometres from the type locality of L. tangi. The original description is based on two males. The previously unknown female sexual characters are as follows: posterior margin of tergite VIII (Fig. 1 A) convex; posterior margin of sternite VIII (Fig. 1 B) convex; female tergite IX (Fig. 1 C) with long antero-median portion and slender postero-lateral processes; female tergite X approximately 0.6 times as long as antero-median portion of tergite IX. The original description is based on two males.
