infrastructures, not a simple settlement system, but an organized system of functions where the relationships between
people, information and things become a priority. The housing decentralization and the deindustrialization have often
caused an archipelago of empty urban abandoned spaces that, although belonging to the city, are no longer part of it,
deprived of any form of use, are waiting for a reassignment of a role. For these areas it is indispensable to identify new
potentials and modes of intervention that trigger a regeneration process and which can play a crucial role in a process
that allows to pass from the marginal area to infrastructure of the system of relations between the city and neighboring
urbanization, hinge of a new identity of the city
