En 1977 se trasladó a Bogotá donde continuó sus estudios de violín con la profesora Isabel O'Byrne.     Gesaneris gen. nov. Type species. Lumbriconereis malayensis Rullier, 1969 Etymology. This genus is named in honor of Gesa Hartmann-Schröder in recognition of her many publications on polychaetes, including descriptions of many lumbrinerid species. Diagnosis. Prostomium without antennae, without eyes; notopodia slightly developed; without branchiae; simple multidentate hooded hooks present, maxillary apparatus with four pairs of maxillae, carriers as long as MI, joined to base of MI; MI forceps-like without internal accessory teeth, wide base, without attachment lamella; MII shorter than MI, with ligament, without connecting plates, attachment lamella narrow developed along 1 / 3 of posterior lateral edge; MIII completely pigmented, attachment lamella narrow along 1 / 4 of posterior lateral edge; MIV with whitish central area, attachment lamella narrow. (Lobo) Orensanz in recognition of his publications on polychaetes; mainly for his studies on eunicemorphs. Diagnosis. Prostomium without antennae, without eyes; notopodia slightly developed; without branchiae; composite and simple multidentate hooded hooks present; pygidium with anal cirri; maxillary apparatus with four pairs of maxillae, carriers longer than MI, joined to half of base of MI; MI forceps-like without inner accessory teeth, wide base, without attachment lamella; MII as long as MI, with ligament, without attachment lamella and connecting plates; MIII completely pigmented, wide attachment lamella along entire lateral edge; MIV wing-shaped, with colourless central area. Salazar-Vallejo in recognition of his works with polychaetes; furthermore, as my mentor and friend he has invariably encouraged me in my research activities. Diagnosis. Prostomium with one antenna, without eyes; notopodia slightly developed; without branchiae; simple multidentate hooded hooks present; pygidium with anal cirri; maxillary apparatus with four pairs of maxillae, carriers slightly shorter than MI, joined to entire base of MI, wide anteriorly and slender in middle and posterior end; MI forceps-like without internal accessory teeth, wide base, with attachment lamella; MII shorter than MI, with ligament, wide attachment lamella along 2 / 3 from posterior lateral edge; wide connecting plate strongly sclerotized from middle of MI to lateral edge of MII; narrow incomplete connecting plate, from base of MI but not reaching base of MII. MIII and MIV completely pigmented, both with wide attachment lamella along entire lateral edge.
