Type material examined. Bannatettix ruiliensis: holotype, ♀, China: Yunnan prov., Ruili County, 12 August 1985, in IZSNU (Fig. 6a). Xistra klinnema: holotype, ♀, China: Yunnan prov., Ruili County, Mengxiu, 08 August 2005, in IZSNU (Fig. 6b). Notes. Xistra klinnema is not a Xistra species because posterior angles of lateral lobes turned downwards, apex of posterior angles obtuse rounded. It belongs to Bannatettix Zheng, 1993. We have examined the type specimens of Bannatettix ruiliensis and Xistra klinnema, and found that structures, type locality and coloration of the body are the same in both taxa. Therefore, Xistra klinnema is here considered a synonym of of Bannatettix ruiliensis.Published as part of Zhang, Rong-Jiao, Deng, Wei-An, Li, Jie-Juan & Lin, Li-Liang, 2022, Pygmy grasshoppers of the genus Xistra Bolívar, 1887 (Orthoptera: Tetrigidae: Metrodorinae), pp. 183-197 in Zootaxa 5162 (2) on pages 193-194, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.5162.2.7, http://zenodo.org/record/681000

The Chinese Law in the Han 漢 Dynasty named the Pang-zhang 旁章(傍章)

    No full text
The objective of this paper is to clarify that the Pang-zhang 傍章 is a general term for laws and the content of such laws. Generally. according to Xing-fa-zhi 刑法志of Jin-shu 晋書, Pang-zhang is considered as courtesy (Li-yi礼儀) which were enacted by Shu-song Tong 叔孫通in the early Former Han dynasty (Qian-Han前漢). But by investigating the records enacted by Shu-song Tong, we can conclude that Shu-song Tong’s courtesy merely refers to the ceremonial manners, but not the legal structure which can be identified with the Pang-zhang. Moreover, the mention of a body of law in the Han 漢 dynasty, which is described in Jin-shu, obviously has numerous incorrect descriptions, so to mention that Shu-song Tong selected the eighteen descriptions of Pang-zhang (Pang-zhang-shi-ba-bian 傍章十八篇) is not reliable. Therefore, the theory that the Pang-zhang refers to courtesy, enacted by Shu-song Tong, cannot be considered as accurate in this case. The fundamental laws in the Han dynasty were the Jiu-zhang-lü 九章律 which were enacted by Xiao-he 蕭何. In the Wei-lü-xu 魏律序, it is described as nineteen descriptions of regular laws (Zheng-lü-jiu-bian 正律九篇) instead of the Jiu-zhang-iü, and as Pang-zhang 旁章 rather than 傍章. Since the Pang 旁 which means “other” is a contrast to Zheng 正 meaning “main”, Pang-zhang 旁章 (傍章) is a contrast to Zheng-lü 正律. Therefore, in my opinion, it is the general term for laws which are not included in the Zheng-1ü. The laws in the Han dynasty were initially sorted out in the Zheng-lü and the Pang-zhang.The bamboo slips with references to law in the Former Han dynasty were recently discovered at Hu-bei-sheng, Jiang-ling-xian, Zhang-jia-shan 湖北省江陵県張家山. They include the name of a volume, which is Lüling-er-shi?-zhong 律令二十□種, and the sixteen laws that do not belong to the Jiu-zhang-lü. These are Han laws that belong to the Pang-zhang. When Xiao-he revised the Qing 秦 laws, I think, certain laws were compiled as the Jiu-zhang-lü, while the others were collected as the Pang-zhang. So the Jiu-Zhang-lü, and Pang-zhang were originally compiled to compensate the missing sections of the other.journal articl
