Title: Verifying Propounded Physical Education Standards in School Practice Author: Mgr. Rostislav Havel Supervisor: prof. PaedDr. Ludmila Fialová, Ph.D. Abstract: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has formulated standards for educational field of physical education through a working group. For the school it is important to be able to use this support material in practice. The aim of the thesis was to analyse verifiability of the propounded standards for physical education in the school environment, to provide information about the knowledge, skills and attitudes of pupils to physical education in the 9th grade of primary school, to map out teachers' opinions on those standards. The research sample consisted of 669 pupils in the 9th year of primary school and 266 physical education teachers in primary school. A knowledge (didactic) test and a questionnaire administered in an online electronic form are the basic research methods applied in the work. The item analyses for each test tasks were performed. A single test cannot cover the whole range of knowledge and skills required by the standards. Title of the work: Standardization of the evaluation tool for verifying the standard of basic education in the field of physical education Author: PhDr. Rostislav Havel The dissertation deals with the knowledge area of the standards of the educational field Physical Education. The main goal was to create a didactic test for verifying the knowledge component of 9th grade elementary school students. The first step was the creation of an item database of 75 test tasks. Subsequently, pre-research (N=669) and pilot study (N=168) were carried out, which were mainly focused on the estimation of reliability, validity and item analysis of tasks. The final (standardization) version of the test was administered to 3 271 9th-grade elementary school students and contains 28 multiple-choice tasks with one correct answer and three distractors. The item response theory (IRT) method was used to analyze the test items, namely a three- parameter model with the values of the discrimination parameter, difficulty and pseudo- guessability parameter. To assess the dimensionality of the test, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was chosen as a part of the pilot tests and the final version. Hlavním cílem bylo vytvoření didaktického testu pro ověřování vědomostní složky u žáků 9. ročníku základní školy. Prvním krokem bylo vytvoření položkové databanky 75 testových úloh. Následně byl uskutečněn předvýzkum (N=669) a pilotní studie (N=168), které byly zaměřené především na odhad reliability, validity a položkovou analýzu úloh. Finální (standardizační) verze testu byla administrována u 3 271 žáků 9. ročníků základních škol a obsahuje 28 úloh typu multiple-choice s jednou správnou odpovědí a třemi distraktory. Pro analýzu testových položek byla využita metoda teorie odpovědi na položku (IRT), a to tříparametrový model s hodnotami diskriminačního parametru, obtížnosti a parametru pseudo- uhádnutelnosti. Pro posouzení dimenzionality testu byla zvolena explorativní a konfirmační faktorová analýza v rámci pilotáží a finální verze. Na základě odborného posouzení došlo k vyhodnocení obsahové validity. The current approaches to the education and healthy lifestyle in the secondary school environment are documented and analyzed in the diploma thesis. In this training the new instrument designed to strengthen the upper extremity and to improve the function of the cardiorespiratory system was used. This device is called krankcycle and its popularity has increased dramatically especially in the recent years. Therefore it became the main purpose of this work to determine whether completing a 12-week continuous training with krankcycle will lead to changes in monitored parameters evaluating physiological, physical and motional skills of subjects and thus identify the true value of its use. At the same time, we wanted to verify previously confirmed advantages and effectiveness of this exercise especifically for wheelchair users and reveal the krankcycle to them and the wider public as well. Rostislav Čevela, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The World Health Organization defines health literacy as "... the cognitive and social skills which determine the motivation and ability of people to access, understand and use health information to support their health." At present there is a great development of information in this area, but this information is often improper and contradictory. Maternity centers with their programs, which are suitable for the development of health literacy. Since 1992, when the birth of the first in our maternity center has been a great development of these organizations. Now, the covering organization of Mothers' Centers Network, which has a motto on its website: "The hand that moves the cradle moves the world.", Brings together more than 330 maternity centers. This password can be transformed in a plane Health Literacy "Healthy Family = healthy society". Clients maternity centers become often the women already pregnant and traffic concerns mainly families with young children through grandparents, which is a suitable environment for primary prevention in a holistic approach to health. Protamaurops mavrovi Karaman: Nonveiller et al., 2000: 23; Nonveiller & Pavićević, 2008: 258, Fig. 5b (diagnosis). Other records: Mt Galicica, 1500 m, VI-1984, 1 ♂, leg. G. Nonveiller (Nonveiller et al., 2000). Note: In the diagnosis given by Nonveiller & Pavićević, 2008, they are some discrepancies with the original decription (Karaman, 1958) concerning to the foveation of the base of elytra. Karaman (1958) stated that two basal elytral foveae were present, while there is only single basal fovea on each elytron mentioned by Nonveiller & Pavićević (2008), this is a unique case for the genus. Unfortunately, the type is probably lost, and we cannot give more precise description of the species. Apparently the team of Prof. Guido Nonveiller was the last who examined the holotype of this species (Nonveiller et al., 2000) which should be deposited in the collection of Zora Karaman in University «Ss. Cyril and Methodius», Skoplje. The collection was examined by the first author but holotype was not found.
