Assurdo, scrittura e soggetto. Un confronto fra Albert Camus e Jacques Derrida
No full textThe aim of this paper is to outline a first comparison between Derrida and Camus (author intensely read by the young Derrida, but rarely quoted in his works), within a complex approach about the historical-philosophical relations between existentialism and post-structuralism.
After a biographical comparison, analogies will be shown by textual analyses. They will concern: a) the function of writing towards philosophy (sensible feature of sign; singular style); b) an isomorphism between logical absurd in Camus and spectral feature in deconstructive reasoning; a parallelism in conceiving the subject as self-extraneity, and also in the question of the absurd freedom, referring to the ethical decision in Derrida; c) a common affinity with Nietzsche, regarding the above-mentioned analogies, which will be suggested too.
Even if tragic, Camus’s conception of the subject appears as a humanistic conception, very far from Derrida’s philosophy. Nevertheless in Derrida, between the lines of his writing, one can see a conception of the subject as a singularity that remains, resisting to its deletion. Both the authors show a sort of productive strain – continuously reconfiguring the subject – between recognition and escape from the impasse of the absurd

No full textLo scopo del saggio è quello di esplorare, tramite indagine teorica su alcuni testi che Derrida ha dedicato a Nietzsche la forma che può assumere oggi, in epoca di globalizzazione, una nozione apparentemente paradossale come quella di “automatismo critico”. Da un lato si assume 1) che la filosofia abbia a che vedere con una forma di autoconfessione involontaria del proprio autore, nel senso nietzschiano, e 2) che l’assoggettamento a forme di automatismo sia un tratto caratterizzante l’essere umano e sociale, e animale in genere. Dall’altro lato, si ipotizza che, prendendo spunto dalla lettura che Derrida ha dato dell’autobiografico e dell’animalità in Nietzsche, ed elaborando categorie spurie - che sviluppano quelle di disconnessione e di écriture - che tengano in conto il ruolo della corporeità, possiamo trovare qualche spazio per la critica. In particolare ciò è possibile seguendo il nesso tra il Nietzsche critico della cultura delle Inattuali e il Nietzsche ‘estremo’ di Ecce homo, come tentato anche da Derrida nel testo Otobiographies e in altri riferimenti che verranno discussi nel saggio

No full textThe paper inquires the co-implications between autobiographism and deconstruction in Derrida’s philosophy. By suggesting that Derrida’s autos may be the pivotal problem, the theoretical notion of writing (of) the autos will be introduced and discussed as a feasible solution. Firstly, some main features both of Derrida’s theoretical conception of autobiography (seen as mainly auto-hetero-logical) and of Derrida’s autobiographical writing (seen namely in its existential quality) will be outlined, focusing on their impasses. Then, moving from the concept of autobiography as writing
(of) life in Derrida’s L’animal que donc je suis and by an analysis of the automatisms in writing in Derrida’s work, writing (of) the autos will be argued as being the presubjective field where autos, automatism and writing may be interconnected. The hybrid
morphology (between activity and passivity) of the writing (of) the autos will be finally shown in its potential consequences concerning Derrida’s approach to corporeity
