<p>Here is the list of updates:</p> <ul> <li>We have added features in the layout editor that allow a user to select nodes and edges based on color and shape in order to edit their visual properties. This functionality is available in conjunction with the features that allowed a user to arrange the positions of the nodes in a variety of shapes.</li> <li>We have streamlined the search interface and made it more efficient. During this process, we also disabled support for "Exact" searches: GraphSpace now supports only case-insensitive and substring searches. </li> <li>We have brought the JSON format accepted by GraphSpace in line with Cytoscape.js and with Cytoscape.<ul> <li>To specify a network, we separate the structure of the network (nodes and edges) from the description of the visual styles of the nodes and edges. </li> <li>GraphSpace now supports CSS-based Cytoscape.js JSON files for specifying the style of the graph. GraphSpace users can import these files either in the "Upload" section or the "Layout Editor" section.</li> <li>We have deprecated support for the JSON format supported only on GraphSpace. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Concomitant with these changes, we now allow Cytoscape users to export their visually-coded networks from Cytoscape and to import them directly into GraphSpace.</li> <li>We added the support for aliases data attribute for nodes. Users can add a list of aliases for a node. These aliases are searchable on search page for graphs.</li> <li>We have added support to allow a group owner to invite another person to a group via a signup link.</li> <li>To facilitate bulk uploads of networks to GraphSpace, we have implemented the Graphspace_python module that a user can install from PyPI.</li> </ul&gt

Performance Analysis of Process Parameters on Machining Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) Alloy Using Abrasive Water Jet Machining Process

    Get PDF
AbstractOwing to its light weight and corrosive resistant, Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) alloy is mainly utilized in fabricating medical device applications. Since it has high strength, it is very difficult to machine alloy using conventional machining. In the present study, an endeavor has been made to machine titanium alloy using AWJM process. Since the process involves with less heat affect zone and higher material removal, it is possible to enhance machinability of workpiece. It has attempted to find the influence of process parameters on surface roughness and topography for enhancing the process. It has been observed that the abrasive flow rate and standoff distance has the most significant role on determining surface quality

Spatio-temporal dynamics of coupled array of Murali-Lakshmanan-Chua circuits

    No full text
The circuit recently proposed by Murali, Lakshmanan and Chua (MLC) is one of the simplest nonautonomous nonlinear electronic circuits which show a variety of dynamical phenomena including various bifurcations, chaos and so on. In this paper we study the spatiotemporal dynamics in one- and two-dimensional arrays of coupled MLC circuits both in the absence as well as in the presence of external periodic forces. In the absence of any external force, the propagation phenomena of traveling wavefront and its failure have been observed from numerical simulations. We have shown that the propagation of the traveling wavefront is due to the loss of stability of the steady states (stationary front) via subcritical bifurcation coupled with the presence of neccessary basin of attraction of the steady states. We also study the effect of weak coupling on the propagation phenomenon in one-dimensional array which results in the blocking of wavefront due to the existence of a stationary front. Further we have observed the spontaneous formation of hexagonal patterns (with penta{hepta defects) due to Turing instability in the two-dimensional array. We show that a transition from hexagonal to rhombic structures occur by the influence of an external periodic force. We also show the transition from hexagons to rolls and hexagons to breathing (space-time periodic oscillations) motion in the presence of external periodic force. We further analyze the spatiotemporal chaotic dynamics of the coupled MLC circuits (in one dimension) under the influence of external periodic forcing. Here we note that the dynamics is critically dependent on the system size. Above a threshold size, a suppression of spatiotemporal chaos occurs, leading to a space-time regular (periodic) pattern eventhough the single MLC circuit itself shows a chaotic behavior. Below this critical size, however, a synchronization of spatiotemporal chaos is observed
