Area-normalized shell weight (ANSW) averages of Globigerina bulloides from sediment core SBB2012DB from the Santa Barbara Basin
These data are in association with a study conducted in the Santa Barbara Basin, California, USA that were used to develop a 20th century record of ocean acidification in the California Current Ecosystem. These data are based on the planktonic foraminifera species G. bulloides' shell characteristics, specifically area-normalized shell weight (ANSW) and include core sample population average values. Additional information on collection of ANSW data can be obtained in Osborne et al., (2016) publication in Paleoceanography (doi:10.1002/2016PA002933).
Carbonate system calculations for the downcore record determined based on the proxy CO32- values using the CO2SYS program are also included in this archive

Planktonic foraminiferal area normalized shell weight data and model carbonate system simulations for the 20th century California Current ecosystem
These data are in association with a study conducted in the Santa Barbara Basin, California, USA that were used to develop a 20th century record of ocean acidification in the California Current Ecosystem. These data are based on the planktonic foraminifera species G. bulloides' shell characteristics, specifically area-normalized shell weight (ANSW) and include both core sample population average values and the individual data used to calculate sample averages. Additional information on collection of ANSW data can be obtained in Osborne et al., (2016) publication in Paleoceanography (doi:10.1002/2016PA002933). Carbonate system calculations for the downcore record determined based on the proxy CO32- values using the CO2SYS program are also included in this archive. Stable isotope geochemistry data measured by IRMS for individuals used in the ANSW and two additional study species (N. dutertrei) and N. incompta) are also included. Core radioisotope geochemistry data used to develop an age core for the multi-core record are included in this archive

Lack of Participation by Black Male Student-Athletes in Academic and Life Skills Programming
ABSTRACTCamille Wilson: Lack of Participation by Black Student-Athletes in Academic and Life Skills Programming(Under the direction of Barbara Osborne) This thesis investigated the obstacles that Black male football student-athletes face when attending academic, leadership, career, and life skills development programs. Using a survey and semi-structured interviews, this study provides qualitative data about these student-athletes’ experiences which will be helpful for athletics administrators when designing programming to attract this specific demographic. The research suggests that Black male student-athletes continue to struggle with grades in the classroom as well as life after sport, especially football. Coaches, teammates, and family continue to make-up these student-athletes support systems. Having people on staff that look like this demographic of student-athletes and are willing to educate and support them may be the start to navigating how to get these young men involved with programming.Master of Art
