Olsen, Jr., on 2 March 1942; he is not certain that the letter will reach his family but gives news of his situation and leaves directions for how he would like his property divided up after his death. The letter is a typescript copy; a handwritten note on the second page indicates that Jim believed Gus had edited parts of the original letter.Alexander G. Olsen graduated from Norwich University with a degree in civil engineering in 1920. Following his graduation, he served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in the Philippines during World War II.
