телесными (физическими) качествами. The author compares the data of the experimental studies on self-assessment of psychic and psychical qualities by future teachers and pedagogic-psychologists. He comes to the conclusion that the development and formation of selfesteem is an important condition of individuality development. The author considers the creation of favorable conditions for the formation and development of self-esteem to be an important goal for educative system

Properties of magnetic energy and magnetic helicity cascades in MHD turbulence
No full textMagnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence is an important part of astrophysical processes, which gives rise to global cosmic magnetic fields. Over the last few decades, the peculiarities of MHD turbulence have attracted the interest of researchers in astrophysics and fluid dynamics, significant attention has been paid to the role of magnetic helicity in fully developed MHD turbulence. Magnetic helicity, together with the energy and cross-helicity, is one of the three integrals of motion in ideal MHD. We show that oppositely directed fluxes of energy and magnetic helicity coexist in the inertial range in fully developed magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence with small-scale sources of magnetic helicity. Using a helical shell model of MHD turbulence, we study the high Reynolds number magnetohydrodynamic turbulence with well separated scales of energy input, magnetic helicity input and magnetic helicity sink. We obtain three inertial ranges with different scaling properties. In a short range of scales larger than the forcing scale of magnetic helicity, a bottleneck-like effect appears, which results in a local reduction of the spectral slope. The slope changes in a domain with a high level of relative magnetic helicity, which determines that part of the magnetic energy related to the helical modes at a given scale. In the infrared part of the spectra we observe simultaneous inverse cascade of energy and magnetic helicity. Our results indicate that a large-scale dynamo can be affected by the magnetic helicity generated at small scales. The kinetic helicity, in particular, is not involved in the process at all
Addressing Music Performance Anxiety: A personal account
No full textThis paper examines my experiences with music performance anxiety (MPA) and
my recent efforts to address them. Its aim is to analyse the efficacy of a selection of
treatment strategies to cope with my MPA. While it is recognised that the personal
assessment I provide is specific to myself, it is hoped that others whose performances
are affected by MPA will find this evaluation of strategies useful.
A qualitative artistic research method was applied to this project. This led to a
generative reflexive methodology being developed to evaluate the efficacy of the
chosen strategies. Regular performances in varying environments allowed a rigorous
analysis of the chosen treatments and ample stimulus to reflect upon. This resulted in
the gradual evolution of how I applied the treatments and how they were practised. It
was found that the most effective of the strategies considered were systematic
desensitisation to the performance environment, cognitive restructuring and the
quieting response. Considerations for future studies would include enhancing

The Paris Commune in Russian historiography: power, mistakes, and damages according to the ideas of Lenin and Skvortsov-Stepanov
No full text<p>After more than one hundred fifty years, the topic of the Paris Commune as a first example of a new form of government, even if it eventually proved to be fragile, is still worth scientific attention. The following work presents an outline of the moments that marked the beginning and the end of the Paris Commune, focusing on the impression perceived by V.I. Lenin and I. I. Skvortsov-Stepanov in Russian historiography about some of the structural characteristics and contradictions of this new politic and social phenomenon. The author starts from the political and economic background of France before the Franco-Prussian War, moving then on to the considerations of Lenin, as one of the most influent thinkers of pre-Soviet Russia, and Skvortsov-Stepanov, as one of the first Soviet scholars who investigated the causes and the damages suffered by Paris as an aftermath of the suppression of the Paris Commune. In the following work, the author illustrates a generous number of extracts in original language complete with professional translation. </p>

Get PDFThis bachelor work concentrates on the life, work, and political activities of Stepanov native Jan Spacek, who was a permanent revolutionary, rebel and crusader for dreams and ideals. This is a probe into the life of a man, who did not enter history as a grand personality of policy or warfare, but who in some ways influenced the great events of his time and was simultaneously transformed by them. The author trys to reveal his reasons for a positive attitude to revolution and half-hearted approach to his family. With the aid of many archived documents, the reasons for his thirty three years in Russia, Bulgaria and the Near East, and his real or ostensible intelligence activity for the Soviet Union, are investigated. Thanks to the collation of many archive sources (both personal and official) there are many different recollections by the people around him. These views differ by their relationship to him or ulterior motives
ON THE INTERACTION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT BODIES AND JUDICIAL COMMUNITY
No full textThe article discusses the possible forms of interaction between law enforcement bodies and judicial community. There are also proposals for improvement of the qualification collegiums of judges, for increasing of the public confidence in the judicial branch of power in current conditions. The current law allows bringing judges to disciplinary responsibility for the imposition of clearly illegal judicial act, if the illegality is confirmed by the highest instance, and the conclusion about the apparent illegality is made by the qualification collegium of judges. This approach does not contradict the legal approach on the principle of non-involvement of the judge to the responsibility for rendering its judgment — the judge shall be brought to disciplinary responsibility not for the opinion expressed in the judicial act, but for actions that violate the requirements of the Law on the status of judges. The author suggests the new way for the composition of the qualification collegiums of judges of all levels, which implies to guarantee the objectivity and impartiality of their work by reducing of the proportion of judges in the collegium to 51% and to replace remaining 49% of members by the members of the public society (25%) appointed by representative bodies of the relevant level, and the remaining (24%) — by the independent prosecutors appointed by the President of Russia. According to the author, creation of such institution of “independent prosecutors” in Russia will provide more effective implementation of the principle of “three keys”, when the appointment of the members of the qualification collegiums of judges will be involved popularly elected President, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council (the legislative assemblies of the constituent entities).</jats:p
