SUCCESSION OPPORTUNITIES IN FAMILY BUSINESS PRO-AVTO NOVAK, ERIKA NOVAK, S.P.
Družinska podjetja so še vedno slabo raziskano področje v gospodarski panogi, še posebej v Sloveniji, saj je na to temo zelo malo literature, je pa to področje, ki postaja vedno bolj zanimivo za podjetnike. Pri družinskem podjetju gre za združitev družine in podjetja v harmonizirano celoto, saj je po navadi družina ustanovitelja posredno ali neposredno vključena v razvoj in delovanje podjetja. Ta podjetja imajo pomembno prednost pred ostalimi, saj je pripadnost podjetju dosti višja, kot v drugih, ne družinskih podjetjih, kar lahko privede do boljšega uspeha podjetja.
V diplomskem seminarju smo preučili izbrano družinsko podjetje Pro-avto Novak, Erika Novak, s.p. na podlagi praktične aplikacije različnih avtorjev, še posebej smo se osredotočili na vprašanje nasledstva družinskega podjetja, saj je ta točka v vseh družinskih podjetjih kritična za obstoj. Proces planiranja nasledstva je zelo pomemben za obstoj družinskega podjetja, ki ga žal veliko družinskih podjetij začne prepozno ali premalo natančno, kar lahko privede do komplikacij tako v domačem okolju, kot v podjetju in lahko v najhujšem primeru celo privede do zaprtja tega podjetja in predvsem pa velikih sporov v družini. Tistim podjetjem, ki se na planiranje nasledstva pravočasno osredotočijo, uspešen prenos iz ene v drugo generacijo prinese uspešno nadaljnje poslovanje podjetja in uspeh ter ugled v poslovnem in domačem okolju.
V družinskem podjetju, ki smo ga preučili, so se planiranja nasledstva le dotaknili in do danes niso podrobno preučili. Lastnik/manager je vključil v podjetje svoje otroke že zgodaj, odločil se je, da želi, da podjetje prevzame eden od otrok, vendar se še ni odločil, komu in kako bo prepustil podjetje.
Lastnik podjetja je začasno predal podjetje svoji ženi, ampak še vedno sam aktivno vodi podjetje. Oba otroka, ki sta bodoča in morebitna naslednika, še nista dokončala šolanja. Če se lastnik ne bo kmalu posvetoval s celotno družino, kako naprej in podrobno planiral nasledstva, zna priti do manjših komplikacij, ko bo prišlo do neizogibne odločitve. Po našem mnenju pa ni nujno, da bi bilo to uničujoče za podjetje.
Po preučeni literaturi vidimo, da se vsi avtorji strinjajo in tudi praksa kaže na to, da je za obstoj in razvoj družinskega podjetja pri prenosu lastništva pomembno, da se nasledstvo natančno planira, saj bo le tako zadeva potekala nemoteno in brez večjih komplikacij in presenečenj tako v družini, kot v podjetju Pro-avto Novak, s.p.Family businesses are still poorly studied area in the industry, especially in Slovenia, because the topic is not mentioned alot in the literature, but it is an area of study that is becoming increasingly interesting for entrepreneurs. In family business is all about uniting family and business as a harmonized whole, because it is usually the founders family that is directly or indirectly involved in the development and activities of the company. On one hand, these companies have an advantage over others, because loyalty to the company is much higher than in other non-family firms, which may lead to better business success.
In the graduate seminar, we examine the entire family business selected on the basis of the theory by various authors, especially focused on the issue of succession of family business, since this point in family businesses is critical for survival of the business. The process of succession planning is the most important for the existence of the family business, which is unfortunately in a lot of family firms undertaken too late or in to small detail, which can lead to complications at home and in the company and in the worst case even to the closure of businesses and major conflicts in the family. Those companies that do take succession planning under great consideration in time, and successfuly transfer from the first to the second generation, brings a successful future to the family business and success and reputation in the industry and home environment.
In the chosen family business, we have studied, they didn\u27t took the succession planning as seriously as the should, and they didn\u27t discussed it in detail. The owner/manager includet his children in the company eary on, because he knew he wanted the business to stay in the family, but has not yet decided whom and how he will leave the company. The business owner has temporarily handed company to his wife, but he is still actively involved with the company, because the children had not yet completed their education. If the owner will not consult soon with the whole family and do a detailed plan for succession, it can get to the smaller complications when it comes to the inevitable decision who to leave the company to, but in our opinion it will not be devastating to the company, because they are already making some plans in this direction.
With all the studied literature and articles, we can see that a lot of authors agree with each other and the practice shows that the existence and development of the family business after the transfer of ownership is important to make a great succession plan carefully, because only then will it be smoothly and without major complications and surprises both in the family and the company
Women′s mental health after abortion
Uvod: Splav je za žensko težka in travmatična izkušnja, zato se vedno več pozornosti
namenja psihičnim in čustvenim posledicam splava. Zdravstveno stanje po posegu lahko
povezujemo z različnimi stanji v duševnem, zato je pomembno, da so ženske deležne
kakovostne in celostne obravnave. Pri tem je vloga medicinske sestre ključnega pomena, saj
je medicinska sestra ena prvih oseb, s katero ima ženska stik pred in po splavu. Namen:
Namen diplomskega dela je opredeliti duševno zdravje ženske po splavu in vlogo
medicinske sestre. Poleg tega želimo opredeliti in opisati najpogostejše motnje v duševnem
zdravju, opredeliti pomen žalovanja in ustrezno komunikacijo medicinske sestre do ženske
po spontani ali umetni prekinitvi nosečnosti. Metode dela: V diplomskem delu je bila
uporabljena deskriptivna metoda dela, ki temelji na pregledu strokovne literature s področja
duševnega zdravja ženske po splavu. Literatura je bila iskana v angleškem in slovenskem
jeziku v podatkovnih bazah CINAHL, Medline, PubMed, Google Učenjak in COBISS.SI.
Iskanje literature je potekalo od novembra 2022 do januarja 2023. V diplomskem delu so
uporabljeni članki, ki so prosto dostopni, pregledni ali izvirni, ter članki v obsegu celotnega
besedila, ki so bili objavljeni od leta 2012 do leta 2023. Članki so bili ovrednoteni po
hierarhiji dokazov po Politu in Becku (2008). Rezultati: Ženske se po splavu soočajo z
različnimi osebnimi stiskami in čustvi ter duševnimi motnjami, kot so depresija, anksioznost,
posttravmatski sindrom in postabortivni sindrom. Izguba želene nosečnosti za žensko
pomeni veliko izgubo, zato ob tem doživlja globoko žalost in obup. Izguba lahko prizadene
tudi njenega partnerja in družino, zato je pomembno, da medicinska sestra v obravnavo
vključi tudi druge člane in z njimi oblikuje terapevtski odnos, ki temelji na zaupanju.
Pomembno je, da medicinska sestra paru nudi podporo, daje natančne informacije, posreduje
vire pomoči in starše seznani s fazami žalovanja. Poleg tega mora medicinska sestra poznati
in prepoznati morebitne znake duševnih motenj, imeti mora dobre komunikacijske
sposobnosti ter vsak primer obravnavati individualno in celostno. Razprava in zaključek:
Splav lahko pusti negativne posledice na duševnem zdravju in čustvenem področju.
Zdravstvena nega predstavlja pomemben del pri celostni obravnavi ženske po splavu, ki je
še vedno stigmatiziran postopek in tabu tema, kar lahko še dodatno vpliva na ženske.
Medicinska sestra ima pomembno vlogo, saj s svojim strokovnim delom, podporo,
razumevanjem in natančnim informiranjem prispeva h kakovostni zdravstveni obravnavi.Introduction: Abortion is a difficult and traumatic experience for a woman, so more
attention is paid to the psychological and emotional consequences of abortion. The health
condition after the procedure can be linked to various mental conditions, so it is important
that women receives quality and comprehensive treatment. Here, the role of the nurse is
crucial, as the nurse is the first person with whom a woman has contact before and after an
abortion. Purpose: The purpose of this diploma work is to define the mental health of a
woman after an abortion and the role of a nurse. In addition, we want to define and describe
the most common mental health disorders, define the meaning of grieving and appropriate
communication of a nurse to a woman after a spontaneous or artificial termination of
pregnancy. Methods: In this dipoma work we used a descriptive work method, which is
based on a review of professional literature in the field of women’s mental health after an
abortion. The literature was searched in English and Slovenian in the databases: CINAHL,
Medline, Pubmed, Google Scholar and COBISS.SI. The literature search was conducted
from November 2022 to January 2023. We used articles that are freely available, review or
original articles, and full-text articles published from 2012 to 2023. The articles were
evaluated according to hierarchy of evidence according to Polite and Beck (2008). Results:
After an abortion, women face various personal hardships and emotions as well as mental
disorders such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic syndrome and post-abortion syndrome.
Losing a desired pregnancy means a great loss for a woman, so she experiences deep sadness
and despair. The loss can also affect her partner and family, so it is important for the nurse
to include other members in the treatment, forming a therapeutic relationship based on trust.
It is important that the nurse provides support to the couple, gives effective information,
provides resources of help and informs parents about stages of grieving. In addition, the
nurse must know and recognize possible signs of mental disorders, have good
communication skills and treat each case individually and holistically. Discussion and
conclusion: Abortion can have negative consequences on mental health and emotional area.
Nursing is an important part of the holistic treatment of women after abortion, which is still
a stigmatized procedure and a taboo topic, which can further affect women. Nurses play an
important role, as they contribute to quality medical treatment with their professional work,
support, understanding and accurate information

Personal and Biobibliography of the Slovenian Author Lojze Novak
ABSTRACTPurpose: The article explores the life and work of the Slovenian author Lojze Novak in order to get more recognition of the author in Slovenia. The article initially deals with the publishing activities of Argentina\u27s diaspora. Methodology/approach: In order to create the bibliography the following bibliographic methods were used: searching and collecting the Novak´s works, bibliographic description as well as the arrangement of his opus. Novak´s works were obtained from Argentina, specifically from the Tine Debeljak legacy, Novak’s descendants, his contemporaries, friends and acquaintances, and from the National and University Library (NUK). Bibliographic descriptions are based on the primary documents therefore the data are accurate and verified. Bibliographic descriptions follow the Guidelines for the application of the ISBDs to the description of component parts (1998). Novak\u27s personal bibliography includes 60 units arranged into published (52) and unpublished (8) works. Published works which consist of works of fiction (46) and nonfiction (6) are arranged chronologically by the publication year whereas within each year they are organised alphabetically. Novak´s biobibliography which includes 6 works and is arranged chronologically has also been produced through this process. Results: Since the author Lojze Novak has not won recognition in Slovenia yet, he has been introduced to our country by the personal bibliography and biobibliography that resulted from this research. Originality/practical implications: By doing the research into Novak´s opus eight of his unpublished works in manuscript form were discovered and included in his primary personal bibliography. It is therefore a comprehensive bibliography in the field.IZVLEČEKNamen: Prispevek želi predstaviti življenje in delo slovenskega pisatelja Lojzeta Novaka ter pripomoči k njegovi boljši prepoznavnosti. Rojen je bil v Prekmurju in je kasneje emigriral v Argentino, kjer je ustvarjal predvsem kratko prozo. Obravnavana je tudi publicistična dejavnost argentinske diaspore. Metodologija: Za izdelavo bibliografije so bile uporabljene naslednje bibliografske metode: iskanje in zbiranje Novakovih del, bibliografski opis ter ureditev. Novakova dela so bila pridobljena iz Argentine, natančneje iz zapuščine Tineta Debeljaka, ter od Novakovih potomcev in še živečih vrstnikov, prijateljev in znancev, nekaj pa tudi iz Narodne in univerzitetne knjižnice. Bibliografski opisi temeljijo na primarnih dokumentih, zato so podatki natančni in preverjeni. Bibliografski opisi del so izdelani na osnovi Smernic za uporabo ISBD-jev pri opisu sestavnih delov (1998). Rezultati: Novakova osebna bibliografija, ki skupaj obsega 60 enot, je urejena glede na objavljena (52) in neobjavljena dela (8). Objavljena dela so razdeljena na leposlovna (46) in neleposlovna (6) dela, znotraj tega je ureditev kronološka po letnicah, v okviru posamezne letnice pa po abecedi naslovov del. Izdelana je tudi Novakova objektivna bibliografija, ki obsega šest del, in je urejena kronološko.Izvirnost/uporabnost raziskave: Novakova osebna, primarna bibliografija je sedaj nadgrajena z osmimi neobjavljenimi deli v obliki rokopisov. Authentication on mobile devices: face recognition
V današnjem času si večina ljudi težko predstavlja življenja brez mobilnih naprav, ki so zaradi svojih funkcij postale zelo priljubljene. Postale so nepogrešljive na zasebnem in poslovnem področju, saj nam omogočajo dostop do raznovrstnih podatkov, kot so fotografije, sporočila, bančni računi itd. Ker v današnjem času hranimo ogromno občutljivih in zaupnih podatkov, so mobilne naprave dovzetne tudi za raznovrstne napade. Tako je prišlo do stremenja po boljši varnosti, ki se jo lahko zagotovi z avtentikacijo oziroma s preverjanjem prisotnosti. Tako se je s časom razvila tudi prepoznava obraza, ki je eden izmed načinov biometričnega preverjanja. Tovrstna tehnologija nam prinaša ogromno prednosti, saj v primerjavi z ostalimi načini predstavlja varno, enostavno in priročno izkušnjo brez vnosa gesla. Poleg naštetega pa zagotavlja tudi fizično prisotnost uporabnika. Kljub vsem prednostim, ki jih prinaša, je prepoznava obraza dovzetna tudi za napade. Obstajajo različni načini, kako pretentati tovrstno tehnologijo in dostopati do podatkov. Vprašanje zasebnosti pa se pojavi tudi glede podatkov o obrazu, ki so pridobljeni s takšnim načinom. S pomočjo deskriptivne metode smo tako predstavili prepoznavo obraza, njeno delovanje, programsko opremo, omejitve, probleme, incidente ter zakonsko podlago. Od tega so nas zanimale predvsem omejitve, ki lahko nastopijo, in varnost podatkov, ki so pridobljeni s prepoznavo obraza. Naš cilj je bil dobljene ugotovitve povezati tudi z rezultati anketnega vprašalnika, pri katerem nas je zanimalo, kako posamezniki dojemajo prepoznavo obraza kot preverjanje prisotnosti.Nowadays, most of us have a hard time imagining life without mobile devices, which have become very popular due to their functions. They have become indispensable in the private and business sphere, because they give us access to different types of data, such as photos, messages, bank accounts, etc. We store a huge amount of sensitive and private data, mobile devices are also susceptible to a variety of attacks. There has been an effort for better security, which can be ensured by authentication. Over time, facial recognition has evolved, which is one type of biometric authentication. This type of technology brings us huge advantages, as compared to other methods, it represents a safe, easy and convenient experience without entering a password. In addition to the above, it also ensures the physical presence of the user. Despite all the benefits it brings, facial recognition is also susceptible to attacks. There are various ways to trick this kind of technology and access data. The question of privacy also arises with regard to facial data obtained with this authentication. With descriptive method, we presented facial recognition, its operation, software, limitations, problems, incidents and legal order. We were primarily interested in the limitations that may occur and the security of the data obtained by face recognition. Our goal was to link the findings with the results of the questionnaire, at which we were interested in how individuals perceive facial recognition as a presence check
Balancing of a two wheeled robot with PID controller
Diplomsko delo predstavlja zasnovo ter izdelavo samostojno uravnoteževanega robota. To je robot, ki se s krmilnim algoritmom uravnotežuje na dveh kolesih in za to uporablja dva aktuatorja, inercialno merilno enoto, kodirnike ter mikrokrmilnik. Predstavljeno je teoretično ozadje, ki temelji na modelu invertiranega nihala kot osnovi za izpeljavo gibalne enačbe robota. Opisane so teoretične osnove izbranih komponent ter proporcionalno-integrirno-diferencirni (PID) algoritem, uporabljen za uravnoteževanje robota. Ta pridobiva povratne informacije o hitrosti robota z rotacijskih kodirnikov ter informacije o naklonu z inercialne merilne enote. Navor za uravnoteževanje je zagotovljen s pomočjo dveh aktuatorjev preko pulzno-širinsko moduliranega (PWM) signala iz krmilnega algoritma. Izdelana je bila konstrukcija robota, programska koda za branje podatkov s posameznih komponent ter krmilni algoritem PID. Uravnoteževanje je bilo testirano pri vožnji naravnost ter glede na vnos motnje v obliki spremembe naklona. Testi so pri optimalni izbiri PID koeficientov pokazali uspešno uravnoteževanje robota pri vožnji ter pri dodajanju motnje v sistem.This thesis presents the design and construction of a self-balancing robot. A self-balancing robot is a robot, which actively balances itself on two wheels using a control algorithm and with the use of two actuators, an inertial measurement unit, encoders, and a microcontroller. The thesis discusses the theoretical model of inverted pendulum as a basis for deriving the equations of motion of the robot. The thesis also discusses the theoretical basics of the chosen components and the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithm used for the balancing of the robot. The algorithm is recieving feedback data of the robots speed from rotary encoders and feedback of the robots angular position from inertial measurement unit. The torque needed for correcting the error is applied by two actuators and uses a pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal calculated by the control algorithm. The communication with peripheral components and the control algorithm were realised using an Arduino microcontroller. The dependency of the different PID coefficients on the balancing was tested when driving in a straight line as well as when adding a disturbance in the form of driving terrain angle change. The tests with the optimal PID coefficients confirmed that the robot is successfully balancing in both tests
