Other Destinations. Translating the Mid-sized European City
The present collection of translations arises from our work within Writing Urban Places, a network of researchers interested in the different ways in which citizens appropriate meaningful built environments through stories, and in doing so are also better able to integrate with others. A key locus in this respect is what our network has termed the ‘mid-sized’ [or ‘intermediate’] European city. Often afforded only cursory attention in the discussion of both culture and society, overlooked in favour of more usual suspects, such urban places allow for a more de-centred, and on occasions regionally focused, view of urban practices, even as they play host to a significant element of contemporary European life and experience. The quest for meaningfulness and appropriation of the urban environment through co-creative, adaptive, and transformative processes (many of which have a textual quality) became central to the theoretical framework of this initiative. Between the individual places in which such processes could be observed and documented, we hypothesized, arises the problem of intermediation – the move from place to place, and its techniques. Translation, more than a textual practice among others, emerged as a structuring consideration of the project at a European scale. It is the outcome of this collective process that is presented here, offering entry into this work to an English-language readership for the first time. Our hope is that, even as they bring their cities of origin somewhat closer to a new readership, those readers will themselves be uprooted and moved some distance in the direction of these ‘other destinations.

Managing dangerous goods in a company within environmental management systems
Magistrska naloga opredeljuje področje gospodarjenja z nevarnimi kemikalijami oz.
blagom v podjetju.
nevarnega blaga in varstva pred nesrečami z nevarnimi kemikalijami.
Kako podjetja v praksi zagotavljajo delovanje v skladu s predstavljenimi zahtevami,
Podjetje v svoji proizvodnji uporablja paleto nevarnih kemikalij.
Določeni postopki so že danes vključeni v
internimi organizacijskimi predpisi. S pomočjo tehnike diagramov poteka smo
povezali obstoječ postopek odobritve uvedbe nove kemikalije v proizvodnjo, s
postopkom zagotavljanja obveznosti glede prevoza nevarnega blaga. The master\u27s paper defines the field of managing with hazardous chemicals and
dangerous goods in a company. The law, that the company must follow, interferes
with dealing with the chemicals itself, as well as the transportation of dangerous
goods by road and prevention and control of chemical accidents.
The way that companies follow these rules in praxis is shown on the example of
Gorenje.
The company uses a broad palette of hazardous chemicals in its production. All
chemicals are transported to the company by road, so it\u27s necessary to follow the
regulations concerning the transportation of dangerous goods by road. Some of the
protocols are already a part of the environmental management systemthe others
have to be defined by internal organizational rules (especially the obligations of
transportation). With the use of process diagrams technique, we connected the
existing protocol of approval of a new chemical in the production with the procedure
of regulating the obligations of transportation of dangerous goods

The History of Hydroelectric Plants on River Drava Between Dravograd and Maribor
V tem času so na omenjenem območju zgradili šest elektrarn: HE Fala, HE Mariborski otok, HE Dravograd, HE Vuzenica, HE Vuhred in HE Ožbalt. This master thesis discusses history of hydroelectric power plants on the Drava River between Dravograd and Maribor, from the first ideas of construction until the end of the 1980s. Six power plants were built in the aforementioned area during that period: HPP Fala, HPP Mariborski otok, HPP Dravograd, HPP Vuzenica, HPP Vuhred, and HPP Ožbalt. Designs for construction of a large power plant on the Drava River had already appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. They were first implemented at the end of World War I when, because of the need for electric power and with the help of Swiss capital, the power plant at Fala was built. In the period between both wars, electrification in Slovenia spread rapidly, and then slowed down during World War II. German invader started building two new power plants at Dravograd and Mariborski otok. New authorities completed them after the war because they needed large amounts of electrical energy due to fast industrialisation of the country. In SFRY era, three additional power plants at Vuzenica, Vuhred and Ožbalt were built during 1953 and 1960 which were almost entirely equipped with equipment from domestic production. In the 70s and the 80s, all power plants were modernised, and automation process with remote control had also started. Organisational structure of the plants changed many times during this period. In 1961, all plants on Slovenian section of the Drava river were finally merged in the DEM company. After reorganisation in 1990, the company is still successfully operating today

Comparative analysis of React and Svelte frameworks for web application development
In the thesis, we compare the React and Svelte frameworks, focusing on their use in creating a web application for table reservations. In the first part, we present all the technologies used, including development environments. In the second part, we focus on the practical implementation of web applications in both frameworks. In the final section, we focus on the comparison between applications by analyzing key aspects such as execution speed, memory usage, bundle size and developer experience. In doing so, it measures metrics such as page load time, response time, and system resource consumption. We highlight the key findings of the comparison and highlight the pros and cons of each area with a practical example of an online table booking app
