Ulysses cunning consists in erasing his own name to become another The pretender Nobody a miniature prototype of mimesis makes Odyssey the paradigm of every literary journey Ulysses is the secret model behind recurring themes in Augusto de Campos poetry The shadow that permeates the Mallarmean motifs of the shipwreck and the elocutory disappearance of the subject singularizes the poetics of the ovonovelo author O tis is the mask that the concrete poet chooses as a paradigm of the linguaviagem to which he has been launching himself for seven decades in search of opening pores in the aporia of poetry That is why the Odyssey never ends Each reader gives a new face to the faceless mask That is why it has always been the book that Nobody reads agai

Nobody Likes Us But We Don't Care was a commissioned solo exhibition at KV, Kunstverein Freiburg in Freiburg Germany in Spring 2014. The title takes its name from a film made on a commissioned residency in 2013 at Yarat Contemporary Art Space in Baku, Azerbaijan. This was the first presentation of the film Nobody Likes Us But We Don't Care. The exhibition also contained elements of the solo exhibition titled Deadness at Matt's Gallery London in Spring 2013. Deadness as a project, as an installation, was funded by the Wellcome Trust and was included in the last REF. The exhibition also contained three other films: Perfume Disco Coma (2008/2014), The Last Walk (2011) and Galaxy (2010) . The exhibition also included an installation of July the Twelfth 1984 (2003/2014) which was re-edited and re-made for this exhibition

[Verse 1]I’m sad and lonely, There’s a good reason why, Nobody cares about me, That’s why I’m sad as can be, I long for some one, Somebody, yes, indeed, Lovin’ kisses from one, Is exactly what I need. [Chorus]Many’s the time I feel so lonesome, But nobody knows, And nobody cares, I’ve grown so tired of being on my “own some”, I want somebody to hug, Cuddle and snug as comfy as a bug in a rug, Many’s the time I feel like spooning, But nobody knows, And nobody cares, I guess I’ll make a little “ad”, That I want some lovin’ so bad, Cause nobody knows, And nobody seems to care. [Verse 2]I’d love a sweetie, Hanging around the place, Someone to worry about, I’d never want to go out, Nobody’s there that’s why, I feel “bride and groomy”, Can’t you see it in my eye? [Chorus

A few blocks form here, there lived a man named Nobody. He used to have a normal first, middle, and last name, but he officially changed all three to just one word, Nobody. When anyone asked him why, he said I\u27m a nobody, like billions of other people in the world, but they\u27re afraid to admit it

Collected by Merlin Mitchell Transcribed by Nathaniel Lucy Sung by Doney Hammontree Farmington, Arkansas September 8, 1950 Reel 67, Item 3 Nobody Answered I wandered again To my old cabin home And I called for the loved ones I wanted to see Then awaked a voice that would bid me come in But nobody answered me Chorus: I called and I called Nobody answered I searched everywhere but no one could I see Then I knocked on the door Like I oft had before But nobody answered me My thoughts all turned back To the long, long ago To the scene of my childhood so happy and free Like a prodigal son I had wondered back home But nobody answered me Chorus I looked every- I looked here and there And I looked everywhere I called “Oh mother, oh where can you be?” I called and I called But alas they had gone And nobody answered me Chorus Then I turned away From the dear little home From place perhaps nevermore I would see And as I turned to go I called them once more But nobody answered me Choru
