TARPINSTITUCINIS BENDRADARBIAVIMAS ATVEJO VADYBOS PROCESE, TEIKIANT PAGALBĄ SOCIALINĘ RIZIKĄ PATIRIANČIOMS ŠEIMOMS
Straipsnyje analizuojamas atvejo vadybos procesas tarpinstitucinio bendradarbiavimo kontekste, teikiant pagalbą Lietuvoje socialinę riziką patiriančioms šeimoms. Remiantis teorinėmis įžvalgomis, efektyvus tarpinstitucinis bendradarbiavimas tiesiogiai priklauso nuo komunikacinės praktikos ir orientuotas į tam tikrus strateginius tikslus, kuriant veiksmingesnę socialinių paslaugų sistemą, sudarant palankesnes pagalbos šeimai galimybes. Siekiant pagrįsti tarpinstitucinio bendradarbiavimo svarbą, kaip reikšmingą priemonę teikiant pagalbą socialinę riziką patiriančioms šeimoms, tikslinga tirti šio proceso dalyvių patirtis ir lūkesčius, kurie susiję su organizacijų tarpusavio priklausomybės valdymu ir įsitraukimu į keitimąsi būtinais ištekliais. Atliekant tarpinstitucinio bendradarbiavimo atvejo vadybos proceso praktikos analizę bus siekiama išskirti esminius veiksmingo tarpinstitucinio bendradarbiavimo veiksnius ir kliūtis, telkiant pagalbos teikėjus, planuojant, teikiant pagalbą vaikui ir (ar) šeimai, bendradarbiaujant su valstybės, savivaldybių institucijomis, įstaigomis ir kitomis organizacijomis. Pagrindiniai žodžiai: tarpinstitucinis bendradarbiavimas, atvejo vadybos procesas, socialinę riziką patiriančios šeimos.Effective inter-institutional cooperation in the case management process depends directly on the communication practice, and is oriented towards certain strategic goals, building a more effective system of social services, and improving opportunities for aid for families. In this article, we analyse the process of case management in the context of inter-institutional cooperation, while providing aid to families at social risk in Lithuania. According to the theoretical framework, effective inter-institutional cooperation depends directly on the communication practice, and is oriented towards certain strategic goals, building a more effective system of social services, and improving opportunities for aid for families. In order to argue for the importance of inter-institutional cooperation as a significant aid tool for families at social risk, it is appropriate to examine the experiences and expectations of participants in this process relating to the management of inter-dependency between organisations and involvement in the exchange of necessary resources. With the help of analyses of the practice of inter-institutional cooperation in the case management process, we attempt to emphasise the essential factors in and obstacles to effective inter-institutional cooperation, assembling aid providers, planning, providing aid to the child and (or) family, and cooperating with government and local authority institutions and other organisations. Aspects of inter-institutional cooperation were defined and analysed by: D. W. Lang (2002), L. C. Johnson, H. Wagner and R. L. Barker (2003), D. D’Amour, Ferrada-Videla, L. San Martin Rodriguez, M. D. Beaulieu (2005), R. J. Vance (2006), C. Lindsay, R. W. McQuaid, M. Dutton (2008), T. Anyonge, S. Jonckheere, M. Romano, A. Gallina (2013), N. Miginis, M. Ulozas, A. G. Raišienė, R. Vanagas, B. Žuromskaitė, A. Stasiukynas, A. Dromantaitė, A. P. Girčys, R. Tamošiūnaitė, M. Bileišis (2014), and J. D. Thompson (2017). The importance of inter-institutional cooperation is obvious and clearly defined; on the other hand, according to scientific study analyses (Raišienė, Smalskiai, Gečienė, 2019; Raišienė, Baranauskaitė, 2008; Liukinevičienė, Paulauskienė, 2019), the topic of thorough inter-institutional cooperation remains relevant. Research objective: to show the aid opportunities in the case management process for families at social risk. Research methods. Scientific literature analysis, document analysis, qualitative inquiry (content analysis). This research is based on the system theory, which suggests communication as the major concept in systems theory. The current research performed 12 anonymous semi-structured individual interviews, aiming to reveal the aid opportunities for the case management process for families at social risk in the context of inter-institutional cooperation. The research results were processed using the qualitative content analysis method. The respondents were case managers, child protection service specialists, social workers, and social pedagogues. pedagogues. The results indicated that the research respondents clearly understand their professional goals, identifying the influential characteristics of factors on effective cooperation, and the lack of effective inter-institutional interaction. In order to optimise inter-institutional cooperation in the case management process, it is appropriate to form a new inter-institutional communication model, establishing goals, making decisions, and adapting decisions in practice. Also important is the monitoring of the cooperative process, the algorithm for the evaluation of the accomplished results, which would help in making the necessary systemic corrections where needed. Discussion. The research results indicate that thorough inter-institutional cooperation directly influences the professional motivation of the respondents, and redirects respondents’ levels of direction and activity of effort. It could be suggested that as case managers, child protective service specialists, social workers and social pedagogues aim for effective professional functioning, they notice the need for inter-institutional cooperation, which would impact the process of an effectively operating partnership network by providing aid to families at social risk. Keywords: inter-institutional cooperation, case management process, social risk families
SOCIALINIO DARBUOTOJO MOTYVACIJA KAIP EFEKTYVAUS PROFESINIO FUNKCIONAVIMO PRIELAIDA
At the focus of this article, the motivation of a social worker is presented as an important aspect of effective professional functioning, which approaches the human being as a personality able to create and accumulate unique experiences. A holistic in-depth analysis of the process of motivation is employed to search for links between different motivational dimensions, such as the personality of the social worker, and the behavioural and environmental effects on professional identity. The aim to theoretically ground the motivation of a social worker as a prerequisite for an effective professional functioning requires carrying out research into the theoretical construct of motivation in order to explain it on a poly-systemic level and distinguish its components: stimulus, identification of stimulus, adaptation phase of an identified stimulus, action, and action control. The explanation and fixation of active elements of motivation take place in a vertical system of relations, where most attention is paid to causal ties and continuity of the social worker’s professional motivation.Key words: social work, social worker, motivation, effective professional functioning.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15181/tbb.v83i2.206
Los demasiados versos. La edición de poesía en México. ¿Qué se edita?, ¿cómo se edita? y ¿para quién se edita?
Based on her experience as a poetry editor and as a poet in her own right, in this essay the author approaches the panorama of the publication of poetry in Mexico in general and more specifically, a selection of books published in 2017 in order to address the following questions: what is being edited, how, and for whom? This essay paints a critical panorama that includes not only a survey of major Mexican publishing houses, but numerous independent poetry publishers as well. Moreover, the author tackles concepts related to the underlying purpose of creative processes: why is poetry being written and for what purpose is it being published are just two of the matters that require reflection and a revision of the always polemic intervention of the State in culture; to wit, governmental support of authors through different programs, ranging from writers’ grants to editions of poetry. The role of the much-reviled canon looms here as a shadow, one that presupposes an issue that must be attended to, along with the role Mexican poets play in today’s society and the relationship they sustain with their readers.

Author: Marek Krasowski; Supervisor: Lekt. Edita Mašanauskienė. Title: Relationship between Ankle-Brachial Index and decreased renal function in patients with cardiovascular arrhythmias. Aim and objectives: The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between Atherosclerotic peripheral artery disease and decreased kidney function in patients suffering from cardiovascular arrhythmias as well as assess the impact and frequency of contributing common risk factors. • To investigate the frequency of PAD with relation to cardiovascular arrhythmia. • To assess the quantitative impact of risk factors on PAD, arrhythmia and renal function • To compare prevalence of PAD and arrhythmia based on common risk factors. • To study the dependence of PAD and arrhythmia on renal function. The study was performed on patients admitted to Cardiology or Neurology departments of Kaunas Clinical Hospital in the years 2011-2013. The sample size was 149 patients, aged 40 or older (mean age 74.7 ± 10.4), men and women. The research concluded the following: patients suffering from PAD had higher prevalence of arrhythmia and CKD. Most of the patients with PAD had abnormal kidney function (87.8%), and 52.7% of patients had moderate to severe kidney impairment (CKD stage 3 or higher). Arrhythmia was more prevalent in patients suffering from PAD and having moderate to severe kidney impairment. Most often occurring risk-factors in patients with PAD were: Diabetes mellitus, smoking, history of MI. Most frequent risk-factors in patients with arrhythmia were: Diabetes, history of stroke and Obesity. Mean GFR decreased by ~10% in patients who had more than 4 risk-factors and either: PAD or arrhythmia. It decreased by ~15% in patients who suffered from PAD and arrhythmia concurrently. Patients suffering from arrhythmia had significantly lower mean ABI value compared to control group (patients without arrhythmia)
