The importance of reading for the integrated development of adolescents
No full textDiplomsko delo se ukvarja z branjem učencev v osnovni šoli. Avtorica želi pokazati, na kakšen način lahko spodbujamo otroke, da bodo lažje in z večjim veseljem brali. V prvem delu naloge predstavi pojme, ki so pri analizi tega problema potrebni (vrste branja, vrste besedil, bralne stopnje, bralne sposobnosti) in predstavi učni načrt. Pomembno je tudi četrto poglavje, v katerem podrobneje predstavi pouk književnosti, predstavi potrebne kompetence učitelja in vlogo staršev. V drugem delu je izvedena analiza vprašanj, ki so zapisana ob besedilih v berilih. Ugotavlja, na kakšen način spodbujajo mladega bralca in ali so vprašanja primerna za določeno starost učencev. Na podlagi analize potrdi, da je učni načrt primeren in da so izbrana berila primerno zastavljena, da je mladi bralec dobro usmerjen h kvalitetnemu branju.This thesis deals with pupils’ reading abilities in primary schools. The author wants to present the way in which we can motivate children to read more easily and with more enthusiasm. In the first part of the paper she presents several key notions (different ways of reading, types of texts, reading levels, reading ability), which are vital for the analysis of the problem and also describes the curriculum at schools. The fourth chapter is important as well, because it shows us what literature classes at schools look like and it talks about required skills of the teachers and the role of the parents. The second part of the thesis presents an analysis of the questions, which we can find next to the texts in reading-books. The author tries to determine how these questions motivate and stimulate a young reader and whether they are suitable for their age. The results of the analysis confirm that the questions and the curriculum are appropriate for the young reader and that they direct the children towards quality reading

Emotional aspects of relationships in familiy of origin and emotional competence in adulthood
No full textAvtorica v magistrskem delu raziskuje, kakšen je odnos med čustveno vpletenostjo posameznika in kritičnostjo v njegovi primarni družini ter njegovo čustveno kompetentnostjo v odrasli dobi. V teoretičnem delu je opredeljeno področje čustev ter njihovega razvoja, nato pa je predstavljeno čustvovanje od otroštva do mladostništva ter čustvene in vedenjske motnje v mladostništvu. Sledi opredelitev čustvene inteligentnosti. V drugi polovici teoretičnega dela avtorica predstavi pregled spoznanj domače in tuje literature o psihologiji družinskega življenja, družino opredeli kot sistem, spregovori o družini in čustvih v njej ter prenosih čustvovanja v družini. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati kvantitativne raziskave, v kateri je sodelovalo 328 udeležencev, med katerimi je bilo 69 moških ter 259 žensk, starih med 18 ter 72 let. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da je višja čustvena vpletenost v primarni družini povezana z višjo čustveno kompetentnostjo v odraslosti. Rezultati raziskave so tudi potrdili, da je večja izpostavljenost kriticizmu v primarni družini v obdobju otroštva povezana z nižjo stopnjo čustvene kompetentnosti v odraslosti. Prav tako se je izkazalo, da sta povezani tudi višja stopnja čustvene vpletenosti v primarni družini ter nižje zaznavanje kriticizma med njenimi člani. Raziskava je pokazala še razlike v čustveni kompetentnosti glede na spol. Rezultati so pokazali, da ženske statistično pomembno višje izražajo čustveno kompetentnost kot moški.The thesis researches the correlation between emotional involvement and perceived criticism in family-of-origin and emotional competence in adulthood. The theoretical part describes emotions and their development, in particular emotional development in children and adolescents. It also presents emotional and behavioural disorders in adolescence and describes emotional intelligence. Furthermore, the theoretical part provides an overview of family life psychology as discussed by Slovene and foreign authors, presents family as a system, describes family, emotions in it and the transmission of emotions between family members. The empirical part presents the results of the research, which involved 328 people (69 men and 259 women between 18 and 72 years of age). The study shows that higher emotional involvement in family-of-origin correlates with higher emotional competence in adulthood. In addition, higher level of perceived criticism in childhood correlates with a lower level of emotional competence in adulthood. Furthermore, the study shows correlation between higher level of emotional involvement in family-of-origin and lower level of perceived criticism among its members. The study shows gender-related differences in emotional competence. Women show more emotional competence than men
Quality of life of a patient after liver transplantation
No full textUvod: Jetra so največji organ v človeškem telesu in imajo veliko nalog. Kadar pride do večje poškodbe na jetrih, lahko ta vodi v njihovo odpoved. Za takšne primere je edina rešitev transplantacija jeter. Namen zaključnega dela je raziskati, kakšna je kakovost življenja pacienta po transplantaciji jeter.
Metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo in metodo kompilacije, saj smo dela avtorjev med seboj primerjali in analizirali. Za iskanje literature smo uporabili tuje podatkovne baze PubMed in CINAHL. Raziskave so temeljile na odrasli populaciji in opisu kakovosti življenja po transplantaciji jeter.
Rezultati: Pacienti po transplantaciji jeter doživljajo pozitivne in negativne učinke transplantacije. Čeprav jim je znova omogočeno, da ponovno normalno zaživijo ter se vrnejo na delo, se srečujejo z novo nastalimi zdravstvenimi težavami ter obveznostmi. Nekatere zdravstvene težave, ki se lahko pojavijo, so depresija, anksioznost, težave s spancem in abdominalna hernija. Do konca življenja morajo pacienti jemati imunosupresivna zdravila, ki jim jih predpiše zdravnik.
Diskusija in zaključek: Čeprav transplantacija za nekatere pomeni nov začetek, je za druge preizkušnja. S seboj lahko prinese fizične in psihične težave, ki se jih morajo prejemniki transplantata zavedati. Pomembna je dobra poučenost o zdravem načinu življenja, znakih odpovedi transplantata, samooskrbi ter zdravilih, ki jih pacient jemlje.Introduction: Livers are the biggest organ in the human body with many functions. When it comes to bigger liver damage, it could lead to liver failure. This is a life-threatening condition that is most commonly seen in young people in their thirties with no pre-existing liver problems. The only solution for these people is liver transplantation.
Methods: We used descriptive and compilation methods for comparing and analyzing studies from different authors. PubMed and CHINAL databases were used for finding studies and literature relevant to our study. Our research was based on the grown population and the quality of patients\u27 life after liver transplantation.
Results: The patients experience positive and negative side effects of liver transplantation. Even though patients can start to live a normal life and return to work, they are met with new health-related issues. The most common ones are depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and abdominal hernia. They will need to take immunosuppressants for the rest of their life.
Discussion and conclusion: Although transplantation means a new beginning for patients, it also brings a new set of challenges. It can cause physical and psychological difficulties. Patients must be very well educated about healthy ways of living, signs of graft failure, self-care, and the medications they take
