Processed measurement data of acceleration of MR fluid-filled cushion gripper on UR3e robot

No full text
The dataset is a supplement to the article that will soon be submitted for review. DESCRIPTION:The dataset consists of Absolute Orientation Sensor (BNO055) measurements during the transportation of an object by a UR3e robot. The trajectory of the robot's movement includes lifting the object to a height of about 200 mm, horizontal displacement for a distance of 400 mm, and lowering by 200 mm. The transfer procedure begins with the closing of the jaws and ends with their opening. The procedure is analogous to the one outlined in the following dataset:Białek, Marcin, 2023, "Processed measurement data on grip forces during object transportation by a robot using gripper with a MR fluid-filled cushions", https://doi.org/10.18150/B2KCKC, RepOD.The experiment was conducted for three values of acceleration and velocity of the robot joints. For each such configuration, 5 handling tests were carried out.LICENSE:The data are under Creative Commons License CC BY. It is though recommended to manipulate along with the author to fully understand the outcomes. Christus solus numquam solus. Salvific mediatorship of Jesus Christ According to Celestyn Stanisław Napiórkowski

Dz 4,12). Temat pośrednictwa wzbudzał i ciągle wzbudza różnego typu dyskusje, zwłaszcza o podłożu teologicznym, ekumenicznym i pastoralnym. świętymi) oraz zwiastowanym słowem, znakami sakramentalnymi i szafarzami (numquam solus).Salvific mediatorship of Jesus Christ is for Christianity an issue of special importance because it places the community of Christ followers in an exceptional situation among other religions. Although other religions contain elements of truth, according to the Bible, there is no salvation in any other name but in the name of Jesus Christ (cf. Acts 4,12). The subject of mediatorship has been initiating discussions of different type, especially on theological, ecumenical and pastoral grounds. An exceptional situation emerges in the context of Mariology and Marian cult. Celestyn Stanisław Napiórkowski, who brought the subject for over 50 years, has a particular place in this field. The aim of this dissertation is to present the basic principle of the theologian from Lublin: Christus solus numquam solus. It is a guiding idea of his reflection upon salvic mediatorship of Christ. S.C. Napiórkowski assumes that all that is exculpatory and salvic is received thanks to Christ. In this sense only Christ and only he is the intermediary of salvation (solus Christus). But the only and absolute Intermediary does not save without mediation of beings, He incorporates them in the orbit of his salvific activity. Only Christ saves us but He does not do it directly and in His intercessory mission employs people (i.e. saints) and preached word, sacramental signs and ministers of sacraments (numquam solus)

Autoethnography, Storytelling, and Life as Lived: A Conversation Between Marcin Kafar and Carolyn Ellis

No full text
This conversation takes place in Warsaw. Carolyn Ellis has come to Poland to accompany Jerry Rawicki, a Warsaw Ghetto survivor, on his first trip back to Poland since the Holocaust. There she arranged to meet Marcin Kafar, a scholar in Poland who has spent time with her at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. During this visit, Marcin assists Carolyn with video recording Jerry’s experiences as they visit Holocaust sites, and Jerry remembers and reflects on his experience. Afterwards, Marcin converses with Carolyn about autoethnography, storytelling, and the importance of life in the context of searching for ethos by academics

Adam Małysz jako epicki wojownik. Przyczynek do mitologii współczesnej

No full text
The author attempts to apply an anthropological theory of heroship to analyze selected press narrations about the polish ski jumper – Adam Małysz. To find archaic patterns shaping the contemporary mythology, the author juxtapose relations about sportsman’s successes and archetypical images of heroes. This kind of comparison shows surprising analogies between the cultural image of Adam Małysz and the archaic paradigm of an epic warrior, who continuously search for new challenges increasing his fame.Marcin Napiórkowsk

PLoS Open Peer Review CorpusSection for Logic & Cognitive Science, Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of ScienceGenerated by Ksawery Jasieński under supervision of Marcin Miłkowski (2022)Public Library of Science (PLoS) journals are committed to open peer review idea, but these are voluntary. They are not available for download in a single package, but they are contained in their huge data dump. The data set contains all available peer reviews as of 16 June 2022 (138 papers with reviews). In addition, the corpus contains metadata about particular reviews, author responses, decision letters and paper metadata in the JSON format. The JSON schema files are available in the schema subdirectory in files with self-explanatory names. The original files were not enriched with any linguistic annotation or converted to any format (these are predominantly PDF, TXT, and DOCX files, as uploaded through the MDPI editorial system by reviewers).Additionally, we are making the filter code available, in the review_crawler directory. For PLoS reviews, plos_crawler.py should be used (more notes in the subdirectory). The files are being made available under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).</p
