    Dilophotes vandykei (Nakane, 1970), comb. n. Stenolycus vandykei Nakane, 1970: 358. Diagnosis. Dilophotes vandykei resembles other species of D. anthracinus group. This species is characteristic in dark black pronotum, relatively slender phallus, and very long internal sac. Redescription of male. Body small, slender, dark reddish brown, covered with dark brown to black pubescence. Eyes small, interocular distance twice eye diameter. Antennae reaching middle of elytra, antennomeres 3­10 flabellate, lamellae of middle antennomeres more than twice longer than respective antennomeral trunks. Pronotum wider than long. Frontal margin produced, frontal angles inconspicuous, posterior angles moderately projected. Disc densely punctuated, with moderately sharp longitudinal costa attached to frontal margin and reaching middle of disc and with median longitudinal sulcus basally. Elytra very slender, flat, subparallel­sided, each elytron with three longitudinal costae in humeral part, costa 1 very weak, shortened, distinct in humeral third. Male genitalia with small phallus, internal sac long. Measurements. BL 5.5 mm. Distribution. Dilophotes vandykei is known only from northern Japan (Hokkaido). Remarks. I have not studied any specimen of this rare species. The above given description is a shortened form of those published by Nakane (1970).     Greenarus nigripennis (Nakane & Ohbayshi, 1958), comb. n. Benibotarus nigripennis Nakane & Ohbayshi, 1958: 80 Material studied: female, Japan, Mt. Kurodake, Kujyu, Oita Pref., 26.VI. 1993, S.Ogata leg. (KMPC). Study of Benibotarus nigripennis previously placed in Laterialis (Kazantsev, 1992), suggests that it must transferred to Greenarus as agreeing in all characters to the latter taxon.
