Özellikle 1798 Fransız işgali sonrasında Fransız yaşam biçimi ve düşüncesi Mısır'da pek çok alanda etkili olmuş, bu durumdan kanun çalışmaları da etkilenmiştir. Mısır'ın hukukî alandaki eksikleri bu etkileşimi daha da arttırmış ve Mısır'da kanunlaştırma çalışmaları hız kazanmıştır. İşte böylesi bir zamanda Muhammed Kadri Paşa, Mısır'daki kanun çalışmalarında dikkat çeken bir konumda olmuştur. Birikim ve tecrübelerini hukuk alanında yaptığı çalışmalarla ortaya koyan Muhammed Kadri Paşa en önemli farkındalığını İslam hukukuna dayalı olarak hazırladığı kanun taslaklarında elde etmiştir. Çalışmamızda konunun daha iyi anlaşılması düşüncesiyle ilk olarak XIX. yüzyıl siyasi tarihi ve dönemin kanunlaştırma faaliyetleri ele alınmış ardından Kadri Paşa'nın hayatı, eserleri ve kanunlaştırma çalışmaları tanıtılmıştır.XIX. century is considered as the period of the acceleration of new and modern law studies in Egypt as well as in the world. France, which had dominated Egypt for a short time with the French occupation which was in 1798, played a significant role in the work of the law and directly influenced Egyptian law-making. With the French occupation, the influence of France and European lifestyles has continued increasingly in almost every field in Egypt. In addition, deficiencies in the legal life of Egypt were tried to be filled by quotations from FranceIn addition to this, Muhammad Kadri Pasha of Anatolian origin has been of great benefit in terms of deficiencies in the fields of law, culture, literature, history, geography and language. Muhammed Kadri Pasha, who used his effort and experience in the field of law, obtained his most important awareness in the draft law which he prepared based on Islamic law. In order to understand better the person we will deal with in our study, XIX. century political history will be discussed in summary afterwards, a brief description will be provided about the concept of legalization and the law work of Kadri Pasha period. In the second part of our study, the life and works of Kadri Pasha will be dealt through all the sources we could reach and his works based on religious rules will be described in detail

Muhammed started graduate classes in spring of 2020, working in research laboratories as well as on the Faculty Senate. Muhammed, a bioinformatics researcher, and the lab he worked in got an early notification in January and there were attempts to receive grants to do research on the new coronavirus. His bioinformatics classes were also discussing the new virus in January. Outside of school, Muhammed’s family life was deeply impacted by COVID-19. Muhammed had saved money for his parent’s Hajj, the mandatory pilgrimage for Muslims, to take place during the summer of 2020. The travel had to be cancelled. During the fall semester, he lost his grandfather. His mental health as well as that of his family’s declined in the following months after his grandfather’s death. No full textSince the 2005 Jyllands-Posten controversy, both far right and Islamist actors have employed Muhammed cartoons to construct a radical frontier between Muslims and non-Muslims. This article aims to provide a better understanding of the linkages between two opposing forms of popular identification by looking at the utilization of the Muhammed cartoons to crystallize a multitude of (conflicting) subjects, affects, and demands. Following a vantage point of mutual relations, the article investigates the discursive performances of the Dutch branch of the transnational Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir and the far right Party for Freedom with respect to the Jyllands-Posten affair, the 2015 Charlie Hebdo attacks, and the 2020 killing of a French schoolteacher. Considering its cultural and political foundations of mutual respect and tolerance, the Dutch case is pertinent for examining the tension between the right to free speech and support for extremist and popular forms of (far right and Islamist) identification.Full Tex

Instead of a challenging, change-management process whereby buy in was needed from each stakeholder, all the staff, instructors, and students that started at MEF had come knowing that the education would be Flipped and had agreed to be a part of this approach. From a leadership point of view, this was indeed a privileged position to be in. However, it does not mean that there were not some teething problems along the way.
