Students’ perspective for online teaching program “Survive” during period of Covid-19.
Introduction: During panacea of Covid-19; educational institutes started online teaching program. This was first experience for almost all faculty members and the students. As we all are familiar with face-to-face learning; it is imperative to get feedback from the students regarding their experience of online academic activities.
Objective: To document the students’ perspective regarding online teaching program of Muhammad Medical College Mirpurkhas named as “SURVIVE”
Methodology: After approval from Research and Ethical Committee of Muhammad Medical College this questionnaire-based study conducted during month of July 2020. This self-constructed questionnaire has 6 components: Organization and Structure, Teaching and learning, Teaching staff and other students, Assessment, Attribute development and Unit performance as a whole. Each component had 3-4 questions and students had to rate their satisfaction level on Likert scale.
Results: Each component of the questionnaire was examined. Among participants; female students (n=103) outnumber male students (n=22). The highest number of students were from 4th year MBBS (n= 47; 37.6%) followed by 1st year BDS (n=26;20.8%) and final year MBBS (n=25; 20%). Overall, 106 (86%) students rated Survive as satisfactory.
Conclusion: Being first experience, yet survive was found nearly in all aspect as satisfactory way of leaning during pandemic of Covid-19
Effect of Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes on the Ablative Properties of Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Epoxy Matrix Composites
The effect of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on the thermal and ablative properties of carbon fiber epoxy matrix composites was investigated. Thermochemical and oxidation reactions were found to dominate the ablation mechanism. Shear forces and high temperatures were produced using oxy-acetylene torch. Three types of composites were investigated: (a) carbon fiber epoxy matrix composites, (b) carbon fiber epoxy matrix composite containing 0.2wt% MWCNTs and (c) carbon fiber epoxy matrix composite containing 0.4wt% MWCNTs. Composites containing 0.2wt% MWCNTs showed 5.4% increase in erosion resistance, while composites containing 0.4wt% MWCNTs showed 9.6% increase in erosion resistance compared with carbon fiber epoxy matrix composites. Thermal conductivity increased with the addition of MWCNTs, i.e., 15 and 52% in composites containing 0.2 and 0.4wt% MWCNTs, respectively. Due to the addition of MWCNTs, the increased thermal conductivity of MWCNT-loaded epoxy matrix affected the ablation behavior of carbon fibers and resulted in gradual thinning of carbon fibers

Environmental sensing using millimeter wave sensor for extreme conditions
The aim of this work is to investigate rotational millimeter wave sensor for autonomous navigation in extreme environmental and weather conditions. The proposed research describes the development and deployment of efficient millimeter wave radar system for mobile robotics as a primary range sensor to allow for localization and mapping. In fact, in highly demanding weather conditions, conventional sensors for outdoor navigation, like ultrasound, lasers and optical sensors have known limitations, that may be at least overcome using the Millimeter Wave Radars. Specifically, our contribution focuses on the extraction of range and velocity information from the data collected by rotating the antennas of a millimeter wave radar at different speed profiles: 360° rps, 180° rps and 36° rps. Experimental validation was performed in foggy conditions to test the robustness of the proposed sensor in a realistic scenario, showing that distances can be acquired in the range of 1 to 40m, at a suitable rate
Development of Hypervideo Platform Using Object Databases
Web users are seizing on interactive capabilities that software suppliers have developed so far, and are eagerly awaiting new interactive capabilities now being demonstrated. This paper focuses the development of rich information environment based on a customized platform enabling hyperlinks on objects within a digital video. With the help of such environment, the viewer is able to view multiple videos concurrently and browse them temporally as well as spatially with the help of an object database. Specifically, the platform enables to traverse through that object by linking, and such links have been explored and created. The link may connect to within a video, or multiple running videos and/or World Wide Web object. The issues such as open hypermedia link base (static, generic or dynamic) and object database versus multiple videos are also investigated
Muhammad(ﷺ) as a Psychologist in the light of Seerat E Tayyiba(ﷺ)
Psychology is directly related to the human mind, thoughts, feelings, characters and various aspects of human mental life. Psychology play a vital role in human personality. Islam itself is deeply interested in human psychology. The purpose of psychology is to discussed the human personality and behavior. As time passed and with the advancement and classification of knowledge started hundreds of branches came into existence. As like this the one significant aspect of knowledge is psychology .However as much as psychology has been discussed in no other religion has done so much. According to the Holy Quran and Hadith there are so many examples have been emphasized about the psychology of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). The life of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is a great example for all mankind of all times. In this article there are so many examples and aspects of the psychology of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) have been discussed which shows that indeed Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is the greatest psychologist. In this article His valuable suggestions and advices are herirically discussed in a beautiful way .The main objectives of the article is to bring the psychological aspects, suggestions, and its solid impacts on the companions during the life of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). In this article both primary and secondary sources e.g Holy Quran, Hadith and books of Muslim thinkers are used. Shortly the last prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is the best of all creatures and his sayings there are goodness for all human beings

The indirect effect of social responsibility standards on organizational performance in apparel supply chains: A developing country perspective
Drawing from social exchange theory, this paper proposes and empirically examines organizational citizenship behavior as a possible mechanism to explain the association between suppliers’ socially responsible behavior and organizational performance. Data were collected from companies in the apparel supply chain in Pakistan, a developing country. Findings show that social responsibility standards have a positive impact on organizational citizenship behavior which in turn positively impacts operational and quality performance. Further, a mediation relationship is shown. This research informs practitioners that social responsibility initiatives instigate deep-rooted changes promoting social-friendly behaviors impacting firm performance. Suggestions for future research are discussed. This accepted article is published as Muhammad Shakeel Sadiq Jajja, Muhammad Asif, Frank Montabon, Kamran Ali Chatha, The indirect effect of social responsibility standards on organizational performance in apparel supply chains: A developing country perspective.
