KEPASTIAN HUKUM DALAM PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI KECER-DASAN BUATAN INDONESIA
Legal certainty in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is a crucial aspect of development in Indonesia, particularly to ensure that regulations are effective and adaptable to social, economic, and technological dynamics. Many legal initiatives that have been introduced have not fully taken local contexts into account, thereby risking failure to achieve developmental goals. AI holds significant potential in the sectors of education, the economy, and human resource development, such as the automation of routine tasks, AI-based training, increased work efficiency, and data-driven performance monitoring. The aim of this study is to analyse and identify the legal certainty surrounding the use of artificial intelligence technology in Indonesia’s development, as well as the forms of restriction necessary to prevent its potential misuse. The research findings indicate that the implementation of AI also raises ethical and legal challenges, including the protection of personal data, algorithmic transparency, and the risk of misuse, such as through deepfakes and discriminatory bias. In the absence of existing regulations governing AI, there is a pressing need for policies that ensure accountability, security, and a balance between innovation and the protection of individual rights. Establishing a legal framework that is clear, stable, and responsive to AI developments is essential for fostering inclusive and sustainable national development
