    Improvising Duos - Audio only

    No full text
This dataset comprises the audio recordings created as part of the Improvising Duos project. A small portion of the complete audio recordings were used to create the stimuli for the perceptual study reported in Moran, Hadley, Bader and Keller (2015), Perception of 'Back-Channeling' Nonverbal Feedback in Musical Duo Improvisation', PLoS ONE 10(6), where the data collection procedure is described. The dataset presented here comprises two parts: six pairs of improvising musicians recorded a series of short performances of the jazz standard, Autumn Leaves; six pairs of musicians recorded a series of short free improvisations. All 12 duos - across both styles - were instructed to play to a formula which encouraged short solo episodes (entirely unaccompanied by their partner). The audio recordings for each duo include two to four tracks. Separate audio tracks were recorded for each musician, using two Audio Technica AT 2035 condenser microphones; in addition, digital instruments were recorded with a direct line in. The audio files for each of the 12 duos consist of a number of short performances; these individual 'takes' are cross-referenced in the accompanying text through start and end times (s)

El eneagrama sauriano: Geometrías de la memoria en el cine de carlos saura durante la transición democrática española

    No full text
"Carlos Saura's filmography during Spanish Transition is strongly revisionist. Memory and its representation imbue a group of six films that revolve around this return the characters of Saura implement. A comparative analysis of them reveals the saurian characters shape some kind of scheme. We've called ""Carlos Saura's Enneagram"" because it implies the repetition of a group of archetypes subordinate to the Memory. Our main objective is to define a memory model by a film director who never left nothing up to fate. This model also makes posible to delineate the main characteristics of the memory in Saura's cinema. Copyright © 2018 (Ernesto Perez Moran).
