I denne artikkelen presenterer vi tre argumenter mot Moens forslag. Vårt hovedargument er knyttet til evolusjon, men også økonomiske og genetiske aspekter diskuteres. Vi er uenige med Ole M. No full textThis article uses Primo Levi’s concept of “the grey zone” to explore Knut Rød’s involvement in the transfer of 532 Norwegian Jews from Oslo to Auschwitz in 1942. Rød, the police chief in charge of the operation, was subsequently exonerated of any crime on the grounds that he had simultaneously used his position to help members of Milorg – the Norwegian Resistance. The legal and moral basis of this verdict has been questioned by the artist Victor Lind in a series of artworks, including his “countermonument” The Perpetrator (2005)

No full textI 2004 ble det undertegnet en kontrakt mellom Landsdelsutvalget og Høgskolen i Nord-
Trøndelag om å gjennomføre et prosjekt i tilknytning til det arbeid som var i gang på statlig
nivå med oppnevning av et nytt inntektssystemutvalg i oktober 2003. Moen-utvalget har
fungert som styringsgruppe for prosjektet. Moen-utvalget har fått navn etter sin leder Alf Daniel Moen, som er fylkesrådsleder i Nord-Trøndelag. Moen-utvalgets
oppgave er å utrede inntektssystemet for kommuner og fylkeskommuner. Dette har foregått
parallelt med det regjeringsoppnevnte Borge-utvalget som har utredet samme tema nasjonalt.
Inntektssystemutvalget (Borge-utvalget) la fram sin utredning NOU 2005: 18, Fordeling,
forenkling, forbedring - inntektssystemet for kommuner og fylkeskommuner, den 10. oktober
2005. Arbeidet i Moen-utvalget ble igangsatt for skape et godt faglig grunnlag i diskusjonen
som ble antatt å komme etter at Borge-utvalget presenterte sine konklusjoner

Trøndelag om å gjennomføre et prosjekt i tilknytning til det arbeid som var i gang på statlig

kontakt med ledelsen i alle kommuner i landet. Videre har det vært mer omfattende kontakt
med om lag 80 kommuner i forbindelse med den datainnsamling som ble gjennomført i regi
av prosjektet

No full textIn Scandinavia, at least 11.500 people were lobotomized in the period 1939–1983. Beside grave personality changes, the surgery caused epilepsy in 10–35% of the patients. Moreover, many died due to perioperative bleedings, convulsive status epilepticus or SUDEP.
Most of the stories of these people are anonymous and their post-lobotomy lives are scarcely documented. If it was not for the fact that Ellinor Hamsun (1916–1987) was the daughter of the famous Nobel Prize winning Norwegian author Knut Hamsun, her lobotomy story and the subsequent iatrogenic epilepsy would probably have remained unknown

No full textAbstractIn this article, I will discuss Knut Hamsun’s connection to the Danish capital Copenhagen, and his lifelong acquaintance with the famous Danish author, Johannes V. Jensen. By the end of the 19th century, Copenhagen was the cultural capital of the Nordic countries. Together with many other eminent Nordic artists, Knut Hamsun spent considerable time in Copenhagen and experienced personal and professional growth during his stays there. Johannes V. Jensen and Hamsun knew each other for years and held each other in high esteem, yet their acquaintance was marked by both fascination and critique. Johannes V. Jensen, in particular, had mixed feelings and opinions about Hamsun. This article focusses on the similarities and differences between Knut Hamsun and Johannes V. Jensen, and discusses how an initially shared value system could lead them in two opposite political directions.</jats:p
