اختر عثمان کی نظم "ملہار" کا اسلوبیاتی مطالعہ: A STUDY OF STYLISTICS IN AKHTAR USMAN’S POEM “MALHAAR”
Akhtar Usman is a renowned name of modern Urdu poem. He is a representative of classical traditions and also a guardian and bearer of new style. He is aware of the art of protecting himself from the flaws and shortcomings of the modern style because of his study about classical traditions of poetry. Due to deep insight of classic, Akhtar’s intellectual structure is energetic and stable. He successfully saves the ground from the process of poetry destruction in the name of innovation. Even if he composes a poem on a traditional topic, he maintains innovation and presents it in such a way that traditionalism does not overwhelm the subtlety of the poem. “Malhaar” is a traditional topic of Urdu and Hindi poetry. The tendency to create poems on the themes of ragas and raginis, combining the imaginative system of poems and songs with the visual perception of ragas is observed in Akhtar’s poetry that shows his musicology. Poetry and music are quite similar to each other in terms of their artistic compositional elements. Akhtar presents music in poetry in a unique style that is a combination of tradition and modernity. His poem under the title of “Malhaar” is an example of such poetry. This article is based on the stylistics used in “Malhaar”. The article compresses the tone of the poem, its lyrics and comprehension under the consequences of stylistics

جارن ریوزن اور ڈیوڈ کارکے نظری مباحث کی روشنی میں تاریخی بیانیے کی ادبی نوعیت :تجزیاتی مطالعہ: ANALYTICAL STUDY OF LITERARY NATURE OF HISTORICAL NARRATIVE IN THE LIGHT OF JORN RUSEN AND DAVID CARR\u27S THEORETICAL DISCUSSIONS
In the late 20th century, a significant change occurred in the historical perception of historians. This change involved the intensive utilization of literary resources in historical studies, leading historians to accept the collaboration between history and literature. They found it challenging to ignore that when they narrate events, the narration of events follows the rules of "Narrative" and "Narrative" is a linguistic method of creating meaning. German historian Jorn Rusen (1938) has discussed the literary nature of historical narrative in his book History, Narration, Interpretation, Orientation. Rusen has talked about the Subjective description of objective facts in historical narratives. He has also described four types of historical narrative: Traditional, exemplary, critical, and genetic. While possessing distinct characteristics, these narratives do not mutually annul one another; rather, they share an enduring interconnection. Throughout the historical continuum, these four narratives converge, collectively offering a historical framework for practical life\u27s evolution. It is asserted that the presence of imagination in depicting historical facts is crucial, emphasizing a shift in modern historical studies away from traditional, objective approaches. Contemporary methods of historians prioritize subjectivity in historical narratives. This article aims to explore the relationship between history and literature because the current principles of shaping historical consciousness are inherently aesthetic and linguistic
Radical Innovations and Economic Development: Comparative Role of Social and Human Capital in Developing Countries
The last two decades witnessed a surge of radical innovations in developing economies. This surge has expedited the research on understanding the factors that foster innovations and transmit the benefits of innovation to economic development. In this study, we have examined the role of enabling factors, social and human capital, for radical innovations and how these impacts are catalyzed to economic development. Using the data of 59 developing countries for 1980-2022, the results of GMM showed that though both social and human capital foster innovations, the impact of human capital is substantive. However, social capital provides a better linkage between innovations and development. The improvement in institutional quality is recognized as essential for radical innovations, while trade openness and FDI are not aligned with the innovative process of developing economies. To sustain this growth in radical innovations, developing economies should focus on enabling factors along with realigning external sector policies with the structure of innovativeness
AN OBSERVATIONAL STUDY ON THE PROFILE OF WOMEN'S WHO EXPERIENCED THE VESICOVAGINAL FISTULA BECAUSE OF OBSTERIC TRUMA
Objective: To evaluate the characteristics of demography, social, cultural and environmental factors accountable for Vesicovaginal Fistula because of obstetric trauma.
Methodology: This observational research work carried out in the patients suffering from vesicovaginal fistula. The recruitment of these patients carried out in DHQ Hospital Dera Ismail Khan, in March 2019. We conducted the interview of 27 patients. We collected the information about the characteristics of demography of these patients, social, cultural and environmental factors and utilization of SPSS V. 20 carried out for the statistical analysis of the collected information.
Results: The average age of the patients was 25.37 ± 6.50 years. Average age of the patients at the time of 1st delivery was 18.55 ± 2.40 years. Most of the patients 81.50% (n: 22) were uneducated and 77.80% (n: 21) patients were from poor social and economic class. 70.40% (n: 19) patients were present with transport availability 24 hours in a day. 88.90% (n: 24) patients traveled from 1 to 5 hours to approach the health care facility.
Conclusion: Marriage and pregnancy at very early age, poor social and economic condition, illiteracy, and non-availability of the obstetric care in emergency condition by skilled professionals are the main causative factors for vesicovaginal fistula.
KEYWORDS: Vesicovaginal Fistula, Obstetric, Pregnancy, Causative, Pathology, Health Care
Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning Models for Lung Cancer Detection Using CT Scan Images
The CT scan provides useful information but has limitations in detecting subtle patterns. Machine learning models enhance cancer detection by extracting features, reducing errors, and enabling early-stage diagnosis. Unlike earlier studies that focused on single models, this paper compares three models: CNN, RF, and SVM. A total of 995 CT images were resized to 128x128 pixels, representing both healthy individuals and patients across the full range of lung cancer types. Using a feature hierarchy, CNN achieved a 96% validation accuracy, and RF reached 95%, showing robustness. However, SVM with an RBF kernel optimization outperformed the others, achieving over 98% accuracy with superior alignment of hyperplanes, particularly in detecting fine malignant patterns. The key metrics used in this study were sensitivity, specificity, and AUC, all of which showed a low false positive rate for early lung cancer detection, bridging theoretical accuracy and clinical practicality. Data volume and processing resources remain significant challenges for applying machine learning in early lung cancer diagnosis. To address these issues, we suggest hybrid architectures (e.g., CNN-SVM) that combine hierarchical feature learning and hyperplane optimization. These findings could pave the way for AI-based clinical approaches, improving patient diagnosis and treatment.
ANALYSIS OF THE RISK FACTORS OF HYPERTENSION AMONG THE PATIENTS VISITING NISHTAR HOSPITAL
Hypertension is abnormal elevation of blood pressure. It’s associated with significant morbidity and mortality from vascular disease (heart failure, ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease and renal failure). Hypertension is asymptomatic, although rarely in severe hypertension, headaches and visual disturbances occur.
