Exploring the association between time series features and forecasting by temporal aggregation using machine learning
When a forecast of the total value over several time periods ahead is required, forecasters are presented
with two temporal aggregation (TA) approaches to produce required forecasts: i) aggregated forecast (AF)
or ii) aggregate data using non-overlapping temporal aggregation (AD). Often, the recommendation is to
aggregate data to a frequency relevant to the decision the eventual forecast will support and then produce the forecast. However, this might not be always the best choice and we argue that both AF and
AD approaches may outperform each other in different situations. Moreover, there is a lack of evidence
on what indicators may determine the superiority of each approach. We design and execute an empirical
experiment framework to first explore the performance of these approaches using monthly time series of
M4 competition dataset. We further turn the problem into a classification supervised learning by constructing a database consisting of features of each time series as predictor and model class labelled as
AF/AD as response/outcome. We then build machine learning algorithms to investigate the association
between time series features and the performance of AF and AD. Our findings suggest that both AF
and AD approaches may not consistently generate accurate results for every individual series. AF is
shown to be significantly better than AD for the monthly M4 time series, especially for longer horizons.
We build several machine learning approaches using a set of extracted time series features as input to
predict accurately whether AD or AF should be used. We find out that Random Forest (RF) is the most
accurate approach in correctly classifying the outcome assessed both by statistical measures such as misclassification error, F-statistics, area under the curve, and a utility measure. The RF approach reveals that
curvature, nonlinearity, seas_pacf, unitroot_pp, mean, ARCHM.LM, Coefficient of Variation, stability, linearity, and max_level_shif are among the most important features in driving the predictions of the model.
Our findings indicate that the strength of trend, ARCH.LM, hurst, autocorrelation lag 1, unitroot_pp, and
seas_pacf may favour AF approach, while lumpiness, entropy, nonlinearity, curvature, and strength of
seasonality may increase the chance of AD performing bet

Poetics of the short stories of Dejan Enev
The aim of this diploma thesis is the introduction of the poetics in the work of the contemporary Bulgarian writer Dejan Enev (*1960), who is mainly writing short stories. Enev is an almost unknown author in the Czech milieu (only these short stories were published in a Czech translation: Little Bulgarian from Alaska, Българи 2011; Niki- Nikola, Casablanca and How to write haiku, Plav 2014/č.1; Little town Mendocino from the book Which way the wind is blowing. Anthology of short stories from Southeast Europe. Praha: Univerzita Karlova, 2016, s. 38-43). He was awarded several international prizes in foreign countries and his stories were translated into several foreign languages (he achieved a great success e.g. in Austria where Zirkus Bulgarien, Geschichten für eine Zigarettenlänge. Wien: Zsolnay Verlag, 2008; was published in German. His books were also published in the United Kingdom and Norway. In his works Dejan Enev is close to the most famous classical writers of Bulgarian short stories (e.g. to Jordan Jovkov), as well as to writers of this genre in world literature (he endorses himself to the legacy of Isaak Babel or Jerome David Salinger). In the context of Bulgarian literature he is considered as the leading successor of the home storytelling tradition in the field of short fiction..

mapping projection and the use of digital technologies through information systems of
data processing. The project utilizes and presents a mechatronic system as a unified
artistic medium (image, sound and movement), positioned in a contemporary cultural
environment.
The basis of the work is mapping projection, i.e. prepared and/or generic content
(image and video) which is projected - by mapping - on moving mirrors which reflect
such geometrically adjusted content on the surrounding space, creating an extended
dynamic environment and a sense of presence in the space of the generated image.
In terms of content and theme, the author presented the phenomenon of human - machine
interaction in a mass media information environment with a mapped video projection, by
using programmable logic controllers.
The phenomenology of these relationships is presented through the animated
contents of the history of the development of digital technologies, increasingly
sophisticated interface and leaving the decision-making and management to intelligent
machines.
In the art project-installation this is shown in the artistic interpretation through
three contents of the installation: a) interactive animation accompanied by sound effects
b) confrontation of selected historical works of art in the field of art representation with
digital technologies and mechatronic installation, and c) autonomous interactive video
initiated by the audience, processed in real time and associated sound effects. By
projecting these contents on an interactive mirror panel, there is a reflection and creation
of collage content of different instances

A review on graphene and graphene composites for application in electromagnetic shielding

This document is an author version of review paper ragarding new shielding materials. To design an EMI shielding product, a compromise must be achieved between the electromagnetic shielding efficiency, the thickness of shielding materials, durability, mechanical strength, reduced volume and weight, and elasticity. Due to its ability to block EMWs, flexibility, lightweight, and chemical resistivity, graphene has been identified as a promising candidate material for efficient EMI shielding. Herein, we reviewed the studies that investigated various graphene-based composites as potential EMI shielding materials, with a focus on the composites based on graphene and silver nanowires due to their high EMI shielding efficiency, low production price, and favorable mechanical properties.

Analysis and Impact of Factors Influencing Supply and Demand of Wine
The paper presents the state, importance, risks, and other factors regarding wine supply and demand. Vine cultivation and wine production, as part of agricultural production, contribute to a certain extent to the gross domestic product in several ways. There is a noticeable increase in vineyards and private wine production. This paperwork is mostly based on the results of the master’s thesis research by the first co-author mentioned, Dejan Obucinski, called "Economics of sustainable wine production and supply in the Republic of Serbia." Presenting the state of wine supply and demand contributes to overcoming risks in the wine business, which will be presented and considered in this paper from the economic level of an organizational perspective, i.e., by using one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods for the structural analysis of a complex system
Identifying the Barriers for Development of Inland Waterway Transport: a Case Study
Inland waterway transport represent environmentally friendly transport mode accompanied with other potential benefits, such as increased transport safety and increased cost savings. In order to encourage further development of inland waterway transport in this paper focus is set on the identification of the barriers that limit and prevent development of inland waterway transport. More specifically, emphasis is placed on the barriers that are preventing the cargo shifting from land to waterway transport system. Research conducted in case of Republic of Serbia investigates several barriers which are classified in four main categories: goods, logistics, infrastructure, framework conditions. Framework conditions barriers are further subdivided and classified in four subcategories: political/legal, environment, economy, technology. Results indicate that the most significant negative influence on the further development of the inland waterway transport in Serbia comes from the political/legal barriers. This result implies that the government need to pay more attention to development of inland waterway transport, as well as to make more effort to enhance the cooperation with stakeholders
