Luo Lingjie's Experience in Treating Chronic Nephropathy

No full text
In treating chronic nephropathy, Luo Lingjie, a chief physician, pays attention to regulating the balance between yin and yang, treating infection if present, and removing pathogenic factors. He prescribes gentle drugs and uses carefully strongly warming-tonifying ones, emphasizes the importance of persuading the patient to persist in treatment with medication and nurse one's health for recuperation, and is good at combined use of TCM and western medicine therapy and brings the merits of various therapies into full play, with obvious therapeutic effects

Solving MIN UR problem by triangle evolution algorithm with archiving and niche techniques

No full text
In this paper, as an extension of minimum unsatisfied linear relations problem (MIN ULR), the minimum unsatisfied relations (MIN UR) problem is investigated. A triangle evolution algorithm with archiving and niche techniques is proposed for MIN UR problem. Different with algorithms in literature, it solves MIN problem directly, rather than transforming it into many sub-problems. The proposed algorithm is also applicable for the special case of MIN UR, in which it involves some mandatory relations. Numerical results show that the algorithm is effective for MIN UR problem and it outperforms Sadegh's algorithm in sense of the resulted minimum inconsistency number, even though the test problems are linear.</p

Numerical simulation of standing wave with 3D predictor-corrector finite difference method for potential flow equations

No full text
A three-dimensional (3D) predictor-corrector finite difference method for standing wave is developed. It is applied to solve the 3D nonlinear potential flow equations with a free surface. The 3D irregular tank is mapped onto a fixed cubic tank through the proper coordinate transform schemes. The cubic tank is distributed by the staggered meshgrid, and the staggered meshgrid is used to denote the variables of the flow field. The predictor-corrector finite difference method is given to develop the difference equations of the dynamic boundary equation and kinematic boundary equation. Experimental results show that, using the finite difference method of the predictor-corrector scheme, the numerical solutions agree well with the published results. The wave profiles of the standing wave with different amplitudes and wave lengths are studied. The numerical solutions are also analyzed and presented graphically

Sloshing simulation of standing wave with time-independent finite difference method for Euler equations

No full text
The numerical solutions of standing waves for Euler equations with the nonlinear free surface boundary condition in a two-dimensional (2D) tank are studied. The irregular tank is mapped onto a fixed square domain through proper mapping functions. A staggered mesh system is employed in a 2D tank to calculate the elevation of the transient fluid. A time-independent finite difference method, which is developed by Bangfuh Chen, is used to solve the Euler equations for incompressible and inviscid fluids. The numerical results agree well with the analytic solutions and previously published results. The sloshing profiles of surge and heave motion with initial standing waves are presented. The results show very clear nonlinear and beating phenomena

Esempio di rappresentazione del sé in Lu Ling 路翎, Luo Dadou de yisheng 罗大斗的一生 (La vita di Luo Dadou)

In the story Luo Dadou’s life (Luo Dadou de yisheng 罗大斗的一生), Lu Ling 路翎 (1923-1994) gives shape to the deepness of human psyche and stresses the suffering of the Self of his age by giving a brilliant emphasis to human individuality. The author succeeds in doing so by creating an amazing psychological characterization of the main character, both by means of words and by means of grammatical structures. By applying Denton’s categories for the study of the Self in modern Chinese literature, I analysed Lu Ling’s short story from the Freudian and Kleinian psychodynamic perspective, so to demonstrate how Lu Ling enters his characters’ minds and wonderfully recreates the psychological dynamics inside and between them
