Sonny and Marina Vannatta 65th Wedding Anniversary Marina & (Norman) Sonny Vannatta On June 23rd Sonny and Marina Vannatta celebrated a truly impressive life milestone - their 65th wedding anniversary. Marina has created a beautiful painting of the old Milo Post Office, and will be donating the artwork to the Milo Library & Archives or Milo Community Hall. Marina & Sonny were married in Cluny by the United Church Minister Rev. Morrison on June 23, 1956. Sonny was working at the time on the road construction and they lived in a holiday trailer which they pulled to each construction site. Marina & Sonny stayed in the Milo area and worked for a farmer for a couple of years. Then they moved to Cluny to help Marina's Father Ben Reimche build the Cluny Hilltop Service Station and Cafe on Highway *1. They ran the Cafe and Sonny worked in the Garage with Ben. Marina remembers these as fun times with the Cluny/Glieichen people. By that time they had 3 children: Wanda, Larry and Vicky. After 5 years they decided to go back to farming and worked for Jack Sutherland for 12 years. Sonny ran the work crew and Marina cooked for hired help, grew a huge garden and milked 6 cows, sometimes running a tractor - very busy times with a young family. Sonny and Marina then went farming on their own, renting land from Rose Northcott and Marie Vinjie. They lived on Rose’s homestead 16 miles northeast of Milo, farming 3.5 sections of dryland with help from family at harvest time. Both Sonny and Marina operated the farm machinery and had a mixed farming operation with cows, horses, pigs, and chickens. They lived there for 31 years, enjoying, a fun and busy life with friends and neighbors. We will not be able to pay for those staying in other campsites. Commentary on Federal Bill C-10 by M.P. Martin Shields By now you may have heard about Bill C-10. It's the Bill that the Liberal Government says will ‘modernize’ the Broadcasting Act. What the Gov­ernment doesn't like to talk about are the implica­tions and powers that will be granted to the Canadi­an Radio-Television Commission, or the CRTC. When Bill C-10 inevitably becomes law thanks to Liberal, NDP, and Bloc Quebecois collusion, Cana­dians’ online content will be subject to moderation and enforced by the CRTC. The Liberals have maintained the ruse that Bill C- 10 is nothing more than a legal mandate to level the playing field between foreign big tech giants like Google and Facebook. That they pay their share in Canadian tax just as Canadian companies are subject to. However, Canadians are not con­vinced, nor will they be fooled. The costs will be passed down to the consumer and will not be transparent. By volume alone, Bill C-10 has been the issue I have received the most correspondence on. In the survey from my May e-newsletter (to which you should subscribe if you haven’t already!) a whop­ping 93% of respondents said that government should NOT regulate posts on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Then comes the infamous 4.1 clause. The clause that protected Canadians’ content online was inex­plicably stricken from the bill by the aforementioned gang of three. This clause would have ensured that, no matter the provisions put into effect by the other clauses in C-10, the content (or ‘programs') that Canadians would post online would not be subject to CRTC regulation. With this clause re­moved, the CRTC will have the power to compel social media sites to remove/modify/replace online content posted by everyday Canadians at its sole behest. No explanation, no criteria, no guidelines. Just because the CRTC can. The Minister of Canadian Heritage has gone on record saying that the CRTC 'has no interest' in regulating individual Canadians' content. However, that argument doesn't stand up to scrutiny either. Despite the apparent disinterest in regulating con­tent, that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. This opens up a can of worms and the potential for a snowball­ing effect. Regulation of content will set a prece­dent defined by the unelected, unaccountable body of the CRTC which operates at arm

There was a variety of cars and trucks to view as well as a tour of Charlie Mingo's old country store. The replica of Charlie's store, made by Bert Campbell, was donated as a prize for the naming of his store. The winner was Zachary Lewis with the winning name of Charlie's Treasure. Over 150 people joined us for a BBQ beef supper and birthday cake at the hall. Displays around the hall included a special sign for the anniversary made by Brenda Prentice (pictured at left), our poetry contest entries and pictures taken throughout the years.. A program followed with Greg Deitz as master of ceremonies. Barb Godkin provided the library history, Brenda Prentice read the poem she had written for the grand opening in 1983, and poetry contest winners read their winning poems. (See article elsewhere in the Can Opener). We also had a number of prize draws and the draw for the Friends of Milo Municipal Library oak bookcase raffle. Many thanks to David Healy for constructing and donating such a beautiful bookcase, pictured at left. The very lucky winner was Shirley Wilson. Weight loss doesn't occur because I align, the omens are right, or a new __^starts. Weight loss occurs because you make it occur. Making changes to your life requires more than the impetus gained by the symbolism of a new month. It requires motivation, information, skills, and support. It might need a journal, but it doesn’t need a calendar. You don’t just lose weight by merely wanting to do it. You actually have to develop a feasible plan and then go out and do it. And it’s the going out and doing it that's the problem. I believe that the real problem with weight loss is putting the program into practice. The actual behaviors—drinking water, going to meetings, managing portion sizes, etc.— are not difficult. The good news is that regardless of how many previously unsuccessful attempts you have made, each new start represents a fresh opportunity for success. In fact, the research shows that with any lifestyle change-losing weight, quitting smoking, giving up alcohol—you have as much chance of being successful on the nth attempt as you do on the first. Readers of the book Inspired to Lose [see discount coupon on page 18] will find many stories of people who struggled for a long time—often years—before finally being successful. So when you are starting out again with hope on a new begin­ning, here are some pointers to bear in mind. well.) Make sure you don’t repeat the same mis­takes. Also important: don't forget to review what you did right in the past. People learn most by trial and success, not trial and error. Focusing on your strengths will not only encourage you, but also provide good information about how you could structure your program most effectively. > Stay mindful of what you are trying to do. Just think about it for a moment. When you have done well, it is because you were able to stay focused. So make sure you spend time each day getting focused. Be Positive. A fresh start is exactly that. Don’t get hung up on memories of past failures. We are constantly re-inventing ourselves, and our circumstances may change. You are a different person than you were in previous attempts, so don’t talk yourself into failure by focusing too much on what you did wrong in the past. Present were Mayor Umscheid, Councillors Monner and Hingley and Municipal Administrator Lynda Cyr. The minutes of the meeting held on May 11, 1995 were read. Mayor Umscheid moved the adoption of these minutes. CARRIED. Council read and discussed the letter from the Canada/Alberta Infrastructure Program outlining the May 15, 1995 deadline for application approval. Our applica­tion for the rest of the siding of the Village office was sent on May 16, 1995, and they are asking that we postpone construction until fiscal years 1997/98 or 1998/99. Lynda Cyr is to contact Andy Cathcart and explain : we have already gone ahead with the project. We would like to know if we can complete it this year, and still be reimbursed later. A letter was received from Apegga in regards to the preliminary investigation of T.R. Mullinger, P. Eng„ The Chairman of the Investigative Committee will be meeting with the Village to discuss the complaint and want documentation to support the allegations sent in. A revised statement of values was received from the Village's insurance company pertaining to the addition of the computer we just purchased. A letter was received from the Milo Municipal Library asking the Village to contact Mr. John Bolton about renewing the library's contract with the Palliser Regional School Board. Lynda Cyr is to check into this and do what is required. Mr. T.E. Roberts sent a letter saying that the County of Vulcan Council appointed Don Holmes Fire Chief for the Milo and District Fire Protection area for the period ended December 31, 1995. Council read the work progress report to June 9, 1995 from Tom Armstrong in regards to the water plant upgrade. They suggest the existing gas engine driven fire pump be rqmpved. A fax is to be sent back saying we must keep this gas engine utilized in case of fire or a power outage. By-Law #305 was presented to Council for reading. The By-Law authorizes several rates of taxation imposed for all purposes for the year 1995. Mayor Umscheid moved first reading.' CARRIED. Councillor Monner moved second reading. CARRIED. Mayor Umscheid moved the By-Law be given a third and final reading at this meeting. CARRIED UNANIMOUS. Councillor Monner moved third reading of By-Law #305. Lee Maher Engineering Associates Ltd. submitted a cost for engineering services for the upcoming paving program in Milo. Their fee does not include geotechnical test­ing. This is extra and is usually included as part of the contract. They will under­take this for 6,000.00plusG.S.T.Expensesareextrabutsincethepavingprogramwillbecarriedoutconcurrentlywiththewatertreatplant,expensescanbeheldtoaminimumwhichwouldbeabout 6,000.00 plus G.S.T. Expenses are extra but since the paving program will be carried out concurrently with the water treat plant, expenses can be held to a minimum which would be about 500.00. Councillor Monner made a motion that these terms would be acceptable to Council. CARRIED. A letter is to be signed and returned to their office saying this. CARRIED.Allan Pentney from Alberta Environment has requested Bill Brown fill out a conditional certification for running the water plant. Lynda Cyr is to talk to Bill about this. A letter is to be sent to the Recreation Board saying Bill Brown's labour and the use of the town tractor for work done at the Ball Diamond is to be considered as a donation on behalf of the Village of Milo. A lot of this division comes from not knowing the facts about it. Let's remember the most important fact, that this project started with the Rec Board Survey (to all households) that showed more support for a walk/bike path than any other type of facility. Probably because it can be used by a wider range of people than anything else—from the very young to the very old. It is my opinion that problems arose and division occurred from people not knowing the facts, not attending meetings, ^ voicing opinions. Don't forget this project kept on proceeding because it "did pass" meetings of the Rec. Board, Ag Society, County Council, Community School Advisory Council, Rural Initiatives Group and Village Council. And some still say there's no community support for this project? So what are the perceived problems with this project? Is it the cost? Perhaps, but most of the money has come from outside the community, thanks to Alberta Lotteries (and if we didn't get it - Vulcan would have) and Tarragon Oil and Gas Ltd. Is this not a great situation to be in? Also, by con­structing this at the same time as the streets, is bringing the project in under budget (thanks to volume discounts on asphalt and time donated by Doug Marks and Alsa Paving) a problem?. Again the committee thought we were doing a smart thing. Is it the route? Perhaps, but without a sizeable loop or interesting destination, would the path really be serving its purpose? Since we were not able to access land around the town, the next alternative was to go along the highway and the lake, which a lot of business people thought was good from an economic point of view. We do have a better family (yuppy) type crowd down at the Park, now that it is cleaned up and camping is charged for. Some say we are wasting money since the highway is going to be widened, but after consulting with the County, all indications were it wouldn't be happening for 15-20 years, if ever, and unofficially we were told that since this rs a community project, the contractor or the County would likely replace the pathway anyhow. This was also another reason for buying the land from Mrs. Marks, so that it would make recon­struction even more likely, since it was on private property. Is it that some feel it may become a "white elephant"? Perhaps, but I really doubt it. Every kid I know can't wait to see it built as well as a lot of adults around the whole area. Parks and Recreation met with us and say they would like to continue the path someday if funds become available. As we speak, the pathway is under construction and will be completed. There hasn't been a project undertaken in this community that hasn’t had opposition of some kind. This project is no different. Hopefully this will prove to be as valuable an asset to Milo as it is to other com­munities. The Rural Initiatives and the pathway committee have always been open to suggestions and concerns, however very seldom have we been approached with concerns. Please talk to us as this is far more productive than us hear­ing it through the grapevine. An open meeting will be held at the Hall on August 8th at 7:00pm. Please plan to attend. A 3-in-l event; Mother’s Day, twins Ty and Camryn’s baptism along with their 8th month birthdays. Camryn was the first to be baptized, she didn’t have any objections whatsoever being admitted to he church. The common method nowadays is pouring, or, splashing water on the forehead three times. It’s a family custom from generation to generation to baptize the infants in a christening gown which is treasured and a keepsake, unfortunately, the Bertschy gown wouldn’t fit. Ty and Camryn, were outfitted in a Baptismal outfit consisting of vest and dress, which Sharron, Leanne’s mother, purchased especially for the purpose, Leanne and Steve will no doubt use a few more times, (Just kidding Leanne). The Milo Fall Fair Committee is a subcommittee of the Milo and District Ag. Society, as is the Milo Canopener, the Milo Hall, the Milo Arena and the Bike Path. The agricultural society receives grants from the province of Alberta each year; we receive a base grant from the government in the amount of 17,500 per year. We also receive partial grants for operating the arena and hall; leadership program funding which we have used to support the Milo School students to attend Camp Chief Hector, and have used it for the Church Youth Group, plus other agricultural courses. path etc. The Ag. Society supports and has supported over the years the Milo School and Kindergarten, Milo Library, Milo Fire Department, the churches in Milo, the Milo Seed Plant, the Vulcan District EMS, STARS, Rainbow Literacy Society, the 4H Foundation, Farm Safety Program, Adult Learning, and other agricultural and horticultural programs, community service clubs and community events that have been offered over the years, and the list goes on. Without the support of volunteers to these organizations, we would not be able to receive the government funding that does so much to help support our community. In order for us to be an agricultural society, we have to host agricultural events annually. Thus is the importance of the Fall Fair. If we do not have the Fall Fair, we stand the chance of losing our agricultural status which in turn could affect our funding. This then could affect the hall, the arena, the Milo Canopener, the bike We need the community to support the Fair by either volunteering to help or by entering items in the Fall Fair. Council reviewed the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association’s proposed options to present to the Alberta Government with regards to the revised distribution of funding for the Municipal Sustainability Initiative. As a result, the Village of Milo will advise AUMA of Council support for Option 6 - AMIP look alike with per capita distribution and a base component of 200,000peryearforallmunicipalitieswithOption5−AMIPlookalikewithpercapitadistributionandabasecomponentof200,000 per year for all municipalities with Option 5 - AMIP look alike with per capita distribution and a base component of 100,000 minimum per year for all municipalities as the second choice. CARRIED. Letter of Complaint Council reviewed a letter of complaint regarding a resident’s dog being allowed to defecate on private property and the droppings not being cleaned up. A letter will be sent to the resident requesting this situation is immediately remedied. Committee Reports Joint Fire Chief Meetinqs: Councillor Phillips reported that the study of the existing fire and ambulance communications system in the County has been contracted to Safety Alberta Ltd. Regional Water Line Council and Administration met representatives from Crystal Blue Developments and Hasegawa Engineering on August 4, 2007 to discuss the possibility of a proposed new development on the west side of Lake McGregor using the Village of Milo to provide treated water. As a result of this meeting, the Village of Milo has agreed to have Hasegawa Engineering, at no cost to the Village, explore all the available options to expand our treated water system to accommodate the proposed Crystal Blue Harbor development. This study will be carried on concurrently with the UMA Engineering feasibility study of a regional water line between Milo, Arrowwood and Vulcan County. Water Treatment Supervision Administration attended a meeting at Vulcan on July 18, 2007 with representatives from Alberta New Residential Development Environment, Alberta Health, Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation and representatives from the other jurisdictions using the Town of Vulcan to provide water treatment supervision to discuss the emergent problems Vulcan is encountering trying to provide supervision to so many different plants. The main problem is that two of the jurisdictions do not have any qualified operators, and rely on Vulcan for all their operational duties which has stretched the capabilities of Vulcan to look after their own system and provide supervision to the other contracted groups. The meeting discussed possible ways of addressing the facts that the jurisdictions require supervision of staff and operations to meet licensing requirements and that water treatment operators are hard to hire and retain. A possible solution could be forming a regional water commission to oversee and operate all the County water treatment plants. The supervision the Village of Milo currently receives from Vulcan is not in jeopardy, and in fact, Milo was noted as being one of the easiest facilities to supervise. Council discussed the extent of the engineering services that UMA is will be providing for the new residential development, and decided to request that the scope be increased to address two new cul-de-sac developments, instead of the original proposal for a single new cul-de-sac. Dust Abatement In response to the Village of Milo’s dissatisfaction with the dust abatement done on Railway Avenue in June 2007, Volker Stevin re-applied lingo to the whole area again on August 15, 2007 at no charge to the Village. Council is now satisfied with the service.Cemetery Policy Council reviewed the seven questionnaires which were returned regarding potential changes to the Milo East (O’ Perfect Peace) Cemetery Policy. After discussion, Council approved the following revisions to the Milo East Cemetery Policy: • Reservation of burial plots will be allowed with a deposit of 100perplotreserved.“Asneeded”burialplotswillremainatnocharge.•ThisdepositwillbeheldforfuturemaintenanceandupkeeprequirementsfortheCemetery.•PlotsshallbeidentifiedwiththeBlockandPlotnumberfromthecurrentMiloEastCemeteryplotplan.•PlotsmaybereturnedtotheVillageofMiloatanytimewithafullrefundofthe100 per plot reserved. “As needed” burial plots will remain at no charge. • This deposit will be held for future maintenance and upkeep requirements for the Cemetery. • Plots shall be identified with the Block and Plot number from the current Milo East Cemetery plot plan. • Plots may be returned to the Village of Milo at any time with a full refund of the 100.00 deposit; however re-sale of the plots is prohibited. • Spousal plots directly adjacent to the first deceased spouse’s plot will continue to be reserved, without fee, unless otherwise directed by the surviving spouse. rv Campground Proposal Council reviewed the accumulated information provided by Mr. Doug Walshaw regarding his proposed RV Campground and rejected the proposal due to a lack of adequate planning information being submitted to support the proposal. While Council is still actively seeking an alternative RV development from the current situation, any new propositions for a RV campground in Milo, whether from Mr. Walshaw or any other developer, must include a complete and detailed proposal including engineered blue prints and business and financial plans to allow Council to responsibly assess and consider the development. Next Meeting The next Meeting of the Village of Milo was scheduled for Monday September 15, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office. The draft minutes for the August 20, 2007 meeting can be viewed in their entirety at the Village Office during regular office hours. These draft minutes will be approved at the September 17, 2007 Council meeting. I also attended my committee meetings. We are looking at starting our strategic planning for the next four years in June. If anyone has comments on what direction they would like the County to be taking please give me a call. At our May 4th meeting Park Enterprises Inspection Services gave a presentation. Park mentioned that the National Building Code of Canada is recommending that farm buildings, like shops, be permitted and inspected. This recommendation has to be approved by the Alberta Building Code, which is to be updated next year. If this is concern to you, please write your MLA to try and stop this from being adopted. Vulcan County is having their annual BBQ on June 10 in front of the County office, all are invited for a free lunch. FCSS will be there with literature on mental health in agriculture and to see if there is interest in a workshop on mental health later in the year. This past week of frigid weather sure made that prediction accurate. In March we’ll be counting Lion (stormy cold weather) and Lamb (mild nice weather) days. I don’t know about you, but I am ready for “Lamb Days”. In March Paddy comes back! That means we will be making traps for our building unit. Maybe this year we will catch him :) In language arts we are starting our research unit. This year students will be researching animals that live in Alberta. They will learn about “key ideas” and writing outlines from text. Then they will use their outlines to write paragraphs. The final project will be done on Google Slides. In math we are continuing to practice and memorize basic facts for addition and subtraction of facts families to 18. The grade 1s will be adding one digit numbers up to 20, the grade 2s will be adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers, and grade 3s will be adding 3 digit numbers. The grades 2-3 will learn how to add and subtract with and without regrouping. Science across the grades: Grade 1 will be building mini objects of everyday things. We will be learning different ways to attach items with glue, tape, pipe cleaners, and paper clips. They will also complete a mini­unit in Spring. We will be looking for signs of spring to add to our spring chart. Grades 2-3 starting their unit on Exploring

He stated " that some people of the community were inacurrate of their perception of the Milo Community School", Some people do not know who Ken is as he has never been involved in the community in the 4 years he has been here. He tried to cancel a few of the activities such as the Christmas production, hot dog day, etc. It was because of the strong support of the teaching staff and parents that these activities remained in place. Most of these activities he listed have been part of the Milo School for many years and the community has always been involved and supported these activities. As administrator and principal for the Milo School I think Ken should have attended some local functions and got to know the people. Ken stated that some people claim to know what is happening in the school but the reality is those people do not know as they are rarely in the school and are first to judge us. In reality Ken does not know " our community So it is unfair of Ken to " judge us ", We know the Milo Community School is a great place as many previous teachers and students still return to Milo for different ocassions. I’m sure Ken will not return to Milo for any functions as he had no interest in the community when he lived here. Thanks to the staff for recognizing me on Secretary Day. News from Milo School: The kindergarten to Grade 6 classes went to the Calgary Zoo on April 5th, 2005. They enjoyed spending time with the giraffes, the tigers, the monkeys, the night creatures, and the elephants. They liked it when they went to the park, dressing up as animals, holding different and unique animals. Payback Time A 3-year-old son opened the birthday gift from his grandmother and found a huge red water pistol. He squealed with delight and headed for the nearest sink. The child’s mother was not so pleased, turned to the grandmother and said, Tm surprised at you, Mom. Don’t you remember how we used to drive you crazy with water guns?” Mom smiled and then replied, “I remember." Daddy’s Trick “Oh, I sure am happy to see you,” the little boy said to his grandmother on his mother’s side. “Now maybe Daddy will do the trick he has been promising us.” The grandmother was curious. “What trick is that?" she asked. “I heard him tell Mommy that he would climb the walls if you came to visit,” the little boy answered. The answer is really quite simple, the people in the communities do everything in their power to make that longevity a reality. Barb Godkin, of Milo, is a prime example of the way people make their communities what they want them to be. She gives of her time to the Milo Municipal Library, Friends of Milo Library Society, Milo Can Opener, Milo and District Ag Society, Milo Fire Department, Milo Curling Club, and the Milo School Advisory. Her volunteer work was recognized this year at the Community Learning Network's annual conference held in Calgary on Apr. 12. Godkin came home with the Outstanding Community Adult Learning Award something her list of nominators believed very strongly that she deserved. She was nominated by Sherry Malmberg, Chairperson for the Vulcan County Adult Learning Council, in her letter of nomination Malmberg said, "I could go on for hours with examples of all the fabulous work this woman has done for Adult Learning in southern Alberta." That nomination was in turn supported by Paul Matlock, secretary of the Vulcan County Adult Learning Council, Liz Sansome, Carrol Thomson director of Family and Children's Support Services in Vulcan as well as the Adult Learning Co-ordinator, Carol Robertson. Robertson was on the Community Learning Network board the year this particular award was developed so according to her, she has "a special place for it, a vested interest of sorts." Robertson is thrilled that Godkin won the award. "She is so very deserving,"said Robertson. "She brings such a special value to our Adult Learning board." As I sit and type this, there are only 36 days of school left (remember...grade 1 concept...counting backwards ©). In my limited experience, I have observed that there is an inverse correlation between the number of days of school left and the energy and excitement level of a 7 year old. It's wonderful being a part of their excitement, and I only hope that some of their energy rubs off on me. On April 5th, the K to grade 6 classes traveled by bus to visit the Calgary Zoo. The weather cooperated and we had a terrific day. The students were divided into three groups and then each group attended an educational program. The K - 2's participated in Am I Bugging You? and they were a very attentive audience. They were delighted to gain some "hands-on" experience with a Madagascar hissing cockroach and a millipede that was at least 15 cm long (which meant its girth was pretty big, too!) We learned a little about classifying and sorting insects, and we learned how some insects are masters at camouflage. The grade 3 and 4 classes attended the Life Cycles of the Young and Slimy. The grade 5 and 6's attended the Wisdom of Gorillas. After a quick lunch—picnic style on the grass, we headed off to see as many animals as the time would allow before heading back to the bus. Special thanks to Penny Heather for getting us safely there and back, and again thank you to the Parent Teacher Group for funding this year's visit. We had many parents and chaperones join us that day as well, so thank you for your help. In Science, we are currently studying the Needs of Plants and Animals, and I want to say a special thank you to Adrienne Deitz for loaning our class her pet hamster, Hooey. The kids have really enjoyed looking after him, and we especially liked it when he was rolling around the classroom in his little ball. He really is a very good navigator and the teacher accidentally only kicked the ball once. He is soon going to be the main character of many a good story written by the grade 1 and 2 s. He has already inspired the students to brainstorm some excellent ideas. The week of April 18th to 22nd, G-Nel Nelson hosted visits from each of the K to 4 classes at the Nelson farm. While there students were able to see ducks, chicks, guinea hens, llamas, a donkey, cats, dogs and very new little puppies. The students had the opportunity to hold all of the baby animals, as well as pet the donkey. G-Nel found a guinea hen feather for each of us and gave us a generous sample of llama's wool as well. G-Nel also treated us to juice and a cookie afterwards. A sincere thanks, G-Nel, for your kindness and many thanks to all the parents that drove that week. On April 19th'the staff and students were treated to a bar-b-qued hamburger and chip lunch and back by popular demand again in May is the "taco-in-a-bag“ hot lunch. Can't wait! The plants that the grade 5 to 9‘s were recently selling are expected to arrive here the week of May 2nd to 5th. Hopefully the weather will have warmed up again by then. On May 12th, Sun Ergos, a two-man company of theatre and dance will be performing at the Milo School. Everyone is welcome to attend. The program begins at 1:00 p.m. The Greek meaning of Sun Ergos means “working together". These actors have made it their mandate to explore the similarities and differences of world cultures in order to promote greater compassion and understanding".
