    Toxic masculinity refers to negative attitudes and behaviours including aggression, violence, dominance over other genders and weak, restricted positive emotional expression typically associated with men. It further includes marginalising any other who doesn’t believe or abide by these values. Through triangulating qualitative methods including thematic analysis, sentiment analysis integration and in-depth interview analysis, this study seeks to conceptualise the multifaceted nature of toxic masculinity on Twitter(X). Furthermore, the research explores the harmful influence of toxic masculinity while also highlighting the instances of resistance and the emergence of evolving discussions on masculinity within online communities. Repositioned masculinities and sexualization of women, aggression and intimidation, emotional suppression, and constructing and constricting gendered frontiers emerged as the main themes of the study. Despite the algorithmic bias, social media offers great potential to provide insights towards identifying the issues and possibilities of developing inclusive and safe online spaces. The environments where vulnerability finds acceptance and harmful norms are effectively challenged. Thereby, this research paves the way for further investigation by employing diverse methods and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to shift the narrative and promote safe spaces. Moreover, it attempts to fully grasp the evolving tapestry of masculinity in the digital age and address its complex manifestations.     Student perspectives on co-creation of learning resources and its benefits on learner development

    Partnership between students and academics in designing learning experiences is shown to have a range of beneficial outcomes. This paper explores student perspectives about the desirability feasibility and the benefits of co- creation on learner development based on the findings from a mixed methods research study situated within an on-going project to develop and evaluate student co-created learning resources. Forty five students from health science disciplines completed a brief online survey consisting of 13 items relating to three domains about the desirability feasibility and the benefits of co-c creation with response options on a five point scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Additionally qualitative interviews were conducted with five students who took part in a co-creation project to develop an online learning resource. The findings indicate high levels of agreement from students about the desirability feasibility and the benefits of co-creation on learner development

    Can travel advisors influence physical activity in personal travel planning projects using the theory of planned behaviour? A longitudinal study

    The objective was to examine the effect of travel advisors (TAs) used in personal travel planning interventions (PTP) on physical activity (PA) in an urban, ethnically diverse residential settings. The study assessed the utility of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to predict both intention and PA associated with “TAs”. A quasi-experimental longitudinal study was conducted with two groups to examine changes in physical activity levels. The methods involved a survey targeted at residents in a PTP targeted area who spoke to a TA (intervention group) and residents who did not (control group). Participants in the intervention group (n = 147) and control group (n = 95) self-reported their PA levels and constructs of the TPB at three time points. The results show that residents who had spoken to a TA reported significantly higher levels of physical activity at each of the three time points. ANOVA”s revealed significant interaction effects for the TPB constructs. The overall conclusion was that those who had spoken to a TA reported more PA at each of the three time points
