No full textThis 54-acre tract 254 in Cataloochee was owned by W. D. Messer. While, in general, the Great Smoky Mountains region was sparsely populated, the Cataloochee Valley remained an exception. By 1900, the population of Cataloochee had grown to 1,000 residents living in hundreds of log and frame homes. A few historic buildings have been preserved on site, including two churches, a school, several homes, and outbuildings. The North Carolina Park Commission was tasked with purchasing land for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and people living in Cataloochee were among those displaced. Cataloochee families continue to return for annual reunions. In 2001, the National Park Service re-introduced elk into the valley

Dejando así una nueva herramienta la cual unifica varios archivos que son necesarios para el costeo de la empresa la cual mejore la eficiencia como la eficacia en el área de finanzas.In the progress of this project, the organization process of costing Messer Colombia SA will be taken into account, because it is necessary to streamline the financial analysis and optimize the cost creation process of this variety of products that are handled in the company, seeing the Advance month by month during the contract period of the practice creating a web portal where the distribution and production areas set up the cost reports by product and in this the information necessary to fill out the financial tool called cost of sales and with it create the monthly report which is presented in management.

The house was built in 1864 by Joseph T. Russ for his wife Mary. In 1891 Theodore D. West and his wife Mary sold the house to Sally C. Messer. For 59 years it was known as the Messer home.
In 1950 the Marianna Woman\u27s Club bought the house with grant money they had received for eradicating hookworm in Jackson County. The house was restored and modified to house a club room, clinic and library. The woman\u27s clubs maintained the public library here for 26 years. The building is owned jointly by the Marianna Woman\u27s Club and the Marianna Junior Woman\u27s Club. The house now provides a meeting place for the Marianna Woman\u27s Club and serves as a community clubhouse for area social activities.
