No full text<i>Tettagalma</i> Menon, new genus <p> <b>Diagnosis.</b> Medium­sized (25 mm forewing length) tettigarctid; prominent costal margin; Rs with three branches; origin of MA branches proximal to nodal line; CuA strongly deflected anteriorly at nodal line; wide marginal membrane; marginal membrane bearing numerous, equidistant striae.</p> <p> <b>Etymology.</b> Genus­group name formed from a combination of <i>tetti</i> in reference to the family and <i>agalma</i> from the Greek present, gift, as the specimen was donated to the author.</p> <p> <b>Type locality and horizon.</b> Vicinity of Nova Olinda, Nova Olinda Member, Crato Formation.</p> <p> <b>Type species.</b> <i>Tettagalma striata</i> Menon new genus and species, by monotypy.</p>Published as part of <i>Menon, Federica, 2005, New record of Tettigarctidae (Insecta, Hemiptera, Cicadoidea) from the Lower Cretaceous of Brazil, pp. 53-58 in Zootaxa 1087</i> on page 54, DOI: <a href="http://zenodo.org/record/170508">10.5281/zenodo.170508</a>

No full textBilginin doğru inançtan niçin daha değerli olduğu, bilginin değerinin nereden kaynaklandığı hiç de açık değildir. Platon, çağdaş epistemolojide Menon problemi olarak adlandırılan bu meselenin ancak doğru inancı bilgiye dönüştüren unsurun ne olduğu belirlenirse cevaplanabileceğini düşünür. Bu sorun, Platon'un düşündüğünün aksine, bilginin tanımı yapılarak çözülemez. Fakat çağdaş bilgi kuramcılarının çoğu, Menon problemini çözebilmek için temelde Platon'un yaklaşımını öne çıkarır. Bu kuramcılara göre bilginin epistemik değeri, genellikle "doğruya inanmak ve yanlıştan kaçınmak" olarak ifade edilen ikiz epistemik amaçtan enstrümental veya teolojik olarak kaynaklanır. Fakat çağdaş kuramcılar Menon sorununu çözmede başarısızdır. No full textThis dataset contains audio files (in both binary uint8 format and .wav) used as the payload data for a communication system simulated as part of the project titled "Stochastic Spectrum Prediction via Diffusion Probabilistic Models and Representation Learning" by Chaoyi He, Arya Menon, and Linda Katehi.
Audio files in .wav format were randomly selected from the internet sources below, trimmed to a length between 1e6 and 8e6 samples, and converted into binary unit8 format using MATLAB software. The binary files and the corresponding audio files are available for download via this dataset.
