    Attraverso l’analisi di riscontri intertestuali già riconosciuti e l’individuazione di nuovi, si rileva la diretta dipendenza del salut Dona, genser qe no sai dir di Arnaut de Moroill da importanti modelli epistolari mediolatini, al di là del noto, e assai frequentato dalla critica, rapporto teorico di questo componimento con l’ars dictaminis. In particolar modo, le corrispondenze (anche nei rimandi ovidiani) qui considerate fra le soluzioni poetico-retoriche di Dona, genser e quelle di Giraldo di Barry, Baudri de Bourgueil e, soprattutto, Matteo di Vendôme fanno di Arnaut de Moroill il possibile iniziatore del genere salut in ambito occitanico

    Efficient reconstruction of corrosion profiles by infrared thermography

    In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm to solve the hidden corrosion estimation problem from experimental data produced by infrared thermography. This is therefore a thermal inverse problem. The algorithm is put in a predictor-corrector form and uses an Adaptive Finite Element model as the reference model. The adaptation is done in the (linear) predictor step, while the parameter estimation is done in the (nonlinear) corrector step. An ad-hoc regularization strategy has been developed. Experiments with real data have confirmed the effectiveness of the method. Considerable computational savings have been achieved compared to a standard algorithm formulation

    Experimental assessment of hidden corrosion profile by FEM processing applied to thermographic data

    The principle of hidden corrosion detection by Pulsed Infrared Thermography is based on the analysis of spatial-temporal phenomena which occur in corroded sites subjected to stimulated heat diffusion. In this paper a heat transfer model, based on the Finite Element Method (FEM), is used to solve the inverse problem. The goal is retrieving the whole corroded profile instead of estimating the corrosion level in the middle of a defect. The proposed method is based on an iterative deformation of the mesh. Numerical and experimental results of a 2D case study will be reported
