A book of charges made to Maria Imlay by her trustee, Thomas Rotch who paid down various monies owed to her and by her. She and her husband, Richard lived at Kendal for a short period before returning to New Jersey. She inherited property from her father, Richard Imlay was frequently in debt, thus she appointed Rotch to oversee her monies to prevent her husband for taking advantage of her estate. 7.9" X 3

Maria Milnor inherited property and money from her father's estate. In 1811, she appointed Thomas Rotch her executor, stating in this document that her assets were to be for her use only. She thereafter married Richard Imlay who accompanied the Rotches to Ohio in 1811.
