No full textAs promised in the previous issue, here is the paper which Dr. Javier Lahuerta presented at the first National Congress of Quality held recently in Madrid.
The author mentions the great difficulty involved in defining quality in the building industry, and even more in architecture, for obvious reasons: quality in the hundreds of products which go into the construction of buildings, quality in design, workmanship, fixtures, durability of the buildings...
He ends by explaining the great progress that has been made in this field during the last 10 years, with regard to standardization, the formation of the right mentality, the setting up of laboratories and the creation of control firms.Como se advertía en el número 241 de INFORMES DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN, se reproduce aquí la ponencia del Dr. Arquitecto Javier Lahuerta, presentada en el primer Congreso Nacional de la Calidad, celebrado recientemente en Madrid.
El autor se refiere a la gran dificultad que entraña el definir la calidad en la Industria de la Construcción y, más aún, en Arquitectura por razones obvias: calidad de los cientos de productos que entran en la construcción de los edificios, calidad en el proyecto, en la ejecución, en las instalaciones, durabilidad de las edificaciones...
Acaba el autor explicando los grandes avances que se han hecho en este campo durante los últimos 10 años, en cuanto a normalización, formación de una mentalidad adecuada, montaje de laboratorios y creación de empresas de control
The Brazilian social violence in the work of Carolina Maria de Jesus
No full textO presente trabalho discute a violência social brasileira através de uma análise da obra publicada de Carolina Maria de Jesus (1914-1977). O objetivo é compreender a violência social brasileira a partir da caracterização do imaginário da sociedade brasileira do século XX, que, guardadas as devidas proporções, aparece delineado nos escritos de Carolina Maria de Jesus. Para isso, foram selecionadas apenas as obras publicadas, uma vez que discutimos também nesta pesquisa questões relacionadas à recepção e à edição das obras, fundamentais para a compreensão da escrita de Carolina Maria de Jesus. As obras analisadas foram: Quarto de despejo: diário de uma favelada (1960), Casa de Alvenaria: diário de uma ex-favelada (1961), Diário de Bitita (1986), Pedaços da fome (1963), Provérbios (1963) e Antologia Pessoal (1996). A partir da análise do seu trabalho, foi possível verificar que, por meio de sua obra literária, a escritora expôs aspectos da violência social brasileira, questionando ou reproduzindo ideias sobre problemas seculares ligados à desigualdade racial, social e de gênero.This research discusses the Brazilian social violence through an analysis of the published work of Carolina Maria de Jesus (1914-1977). The goal is to understand the Brazilian social violence from the characterization of the imaginary of Brazilian society of twenty century that somehow is present in the writings of Carolina Maria de Jesus. The analysis focused only in the published works, since we also discussed in this research questions related to the reception and edition of the works, which are fundamental for the understanding of the writing of Carolina Maria de Jesus. The works analyzed were: Quarto de despejo: diário de uma favelada (Child of the dark: the diary) published in 1960; Casa de Alvenaria: diário de uma ex-favelada (I’m going to have a little house: the second diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus) published in 1961; Diário de Bitita (Bittita's Diary: the childhood Memoirs of Carolina Maria de Jesus) published in 1986 and also Pedaços da fome (1963), Provérbios (1963) and Antologia Pessoal (1996). Based on the analysis of her work, it was possible to verify that, through her literary work, the writer exposed aspects of Brazilian social violence, questioning or reproducing ideas about the secular problems related to racial, social and gender inequality.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES
