    Just one step to the man: The Relationship to the "non-human" life on the base of the works of A.Schweitzer and H. Jonas

    The central theme of this thesis is the action towards "non-human life", i.e. towards the life of "people", who aren't called people in certain circumstances. The author asks, if our responsibility is limited to human beings. The definition of human being is deliberatery avoided, as it always depends on the context of its creation. The problem is looked upon from the opposite standpoint of approach to life as such. Some possible answers to the question why we should be responsible for "non-human" life as well are presented. The author analyses ethical concepts of A. Schweitzer and H. Jonas who consider life in itself, demand on our conscious and responsible actions towards life, and the existence of debt adherent to all our actions as central. Emphasis is laid upon the motif of community, which plays a vital role within Dussel's ethics sub pauperum lumine. Theological ethics of liberation with its methodological foundations is often considered to be problematic from the western perspective; in particular comprehension of eschatology, the reception of Marxist thoughts and its emphasis on social, economic and cultural context, is often misunderstood and rejected.     The Anonymous Controversy against the Brethren in the Late 15th Century

    This work presents an insight into the religious sentiments Czech medieval society in the late 15th century. The first part is devoted attention to religious development in the country. It discusses the important figures in Czech Utraquism and their learning. Among the personalities influencing the Unity of the Brethren in the first decades of its existence ranks M. Jan Rokycana and Petr Chelčický. Furthermore, the analysis of the various religious groups and sects, who the Unity of Brethren at its beginning in touch. This part is also portrayed the origins of the Brethren, led by brothers Gregory and other historical development of Unity to the time of Luke of Prague. The second part is devoted to the Unity of the Brethren learning points from the beginning of unity to the end of the 15th century.     Humility as the Premise of the Perfect Following of Christ

    This work on a field of Theological Ethics concerns the subject of humility, an important Christian virtue, and researches its significance for Christian practice and spiritual life in general. According to Biblical studies humility as a willing self-humiliation belongs to the essential characteristic of God's incarnation of Christ to the world and of the whole of Jesus' life, his death on the cross included. From this point of view humility as self-transcendence proves to be the premise of the ideal of following Christ. The author therefore perceives the issue of humility as a challenge for daily Christian practice. The work also points out the universal value of humility and it offers the authors' own view on humility as one of the most important aspects of interfaith and intercultural dialogue - and of dialogue per se. The theme embodies a discourse on psychology, which allows an interdisciplinary discussion. Besides the Bible the main sources of this presented thesis are writings of Christian mystics, especially Thomas A Kempis, and works of theologians - Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Jan Heller.     Tato práce se zabývá vývojem výpočetně nenáročného modelu pro numerické řešení dvoufázového proudění vody a vodní páry s nerovnovážným fázovým přechodem. V první části je představen matematický model stlačitelného nevazkého jednofázového proudění založený na Eulerových rovnicích. Následuje popis numerického řešení metodou konečných objemů s příklady Laxova-Friedrichsova a AUSM schématu a aplikacemi na proudění v Barschdorffově dýze v 1D a 2D a v lopatkové mříži axiální turbíny ve 2D. Další část obsahuje popis modelu nerovnovážného fázového přechodu, algoritmu pro jeho numerické řešení a jeho implementace do numerických metod pro výpočet jednofázového proudění. Jsou zde ukázány aplikace modelu s fázovým přechodem na stejných geometriích jako u jednofázového proudění, výsledky jsou porovnány s experimentem a s numerickými výsledky jiných autorů. Numerické výsledky byly získány pomocí programu vyvinutého autorem pro účely této práce.The thesis deals with the development of a computationally undemanding model for the numerical solution of a two-phase flow of liquid water and vapor with a non-equilibrium phase change. A mathematical model of compressible one-phase flow of non viscous fluid based on the Euler equations is presented in the first part. A description of the numerical solution using a finite-volume method follows. It is demonstrated on the examples of Lax-Friedrichs and AUSM schemes. The numerical methods are applied to the cases of one- and two-dimensional Barschdorff nozzle and two-dimensional axial turbine cascade. The model of non-equilibrium phase change is introduced in the next part, along with the algorithm for its numerical solution and its implementation into the numerical methods used for one-phase flow calculation. The model with the phase change is employed for the solution of the same applications as considered for the one-phase flow case. The results are compared with experimental and numerical results of other authors. The results were obtained using a code developed by the author for the purpose of this thesis

    M.L.I.S.This critically annotated bibliography examines perceived changes of the societal attitudes toward blindness and visual impairment reflected by writers in children's and young adult literature. The introductory essay addresses the historical perspective of blindness including the implication of the folklore of blindness, the analysis of psychosocial origins of societal attitudes toward blindness, and a brief review of classical literature. The literature review provides a discussion of some of the books reviewed in the annotated bibliography. The body of the critically annotated bibliography lists forty-seven titles selected to illustrate the argument in the introductory essay. The story outlines in each annotation are focused on the components of the narrative that indicate the attitude or convey any pertinent information about blindness and vision impairment. The "Analysis" of each annotation critically evaluates the treatment by the author of the blind and visually impaired character in the story

    The most studies in the field of rolling contact fatigue and wear consider that these phenomenons are independent, but this paper shows strong coupling of both in the case, when ratcheting mechanism is the driving one. There is presented the application of semi-analytical approach, introduced by A. Mazzu [1], for two dimensional rolling contact case. The model is based on non-linear kinematic and isotropic hardening rule of Chaboche and Lemaitre [2]. Mazzu´s approach has been modified to correctly predict ratcheting and wear rate for different values of contact pressure. A correlation between the parameter L (yield stress) and the value of the maximum contact pressure p0 has been found.     The design of a turbomachine needs to be executed with a careful consideration of aeroelastic effects in order to guarantee a long and safe operation. One of the greatest risks represent self-excited vibrations, called flutter. Once initiated, their rapidly increasing magnitude threatens to induce a catastrophic failure within a very short time. This thesis deals with numerical prediction of flutter and focuses on the treatment of boundary conditions for the prevention of spurious wave reflections. The compact spatial arrangement of turbomachines causes that any perturbation formed at the inlet or outlet boundary impacts directly the near-blade flow solution. The issue is exacerbated by the recent trend of increasing the diameter of last-stage steam turbine rotors in pursuit of a higher power output. As a consequence, supersonic inflow conditions may be encountered at higher spans. The upstream propagating bow shock, formed ahead of the blade leading edge, creates a particularly challenging environment for a reflection-free definition of inlet boundary conditions. The present modelling approach is primarily based on the energy method with prescribed harmonic blade oscillations. The solution of unsteady aerodynamics adopts Euler equations in two dimensions, cast in the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation and discretised with a finite volume approach. The AUSM+-up scheme is employed for the approximation of inviscid fluxes and spatial accuracy is enhanced by adopting a weighted least squares gradient reconstruction with flux limiting. The system of equations is integrated in time with a second order accurate implicit scheme with local time-stepping and implicit residual smoothing. The state-of-theart Spectral non-reflecting boundary condition (NRBC) is employed for inflow and outflow and compared with two other formulations. The numerical solution procedure is realised with an in-house solver implemented by the author in C++. The computational model is used to predict aeroelastic stability of an isolated airfoil NACA 0012 and of three blade cascades with a subsonic (STCF10), transonic (STCF4) and supersonic (M8) flow regime. The Spectral NRBC is shown to be highly successful in preventing the formation of spurious wave reflections and enables an accurate evaluation of aerodynamic damping even for complex flow-fields. Although the wave reflections are not always completely suppressed on account of the underlying linearised model, their magnitude is low enough to have only a minor effect on the near-blade flow field. Flow solution adopting the Spectral NRBC exhibits only a very mild sensitivity to the inflow and outflow positions, which allows employing highly truncated domains without compromising accuracy. The study further demonstrates that using a boundary condition that fails to suppress the spurious wave reflections can result in a fundamentally incorrect aeroelastic assessment.Pro zaručení dlouhé životnosti a bezpečného provozu lopatkového stroje je nezbytné, aby byl jeho návrh proveden s pečlivým zohledněním aeroelastických jevů. Mezi největší rizika patří samobuzené kmitání, zvané flutter. Pokud dojde k jeho vzniku, rychle se zvětšující výchylky kmitů mohou ve velmi krátkém čase vést ke katastrofickému selhání konstrukce. Tato práce se zabývá numerickou predikcí flutteru a zaměřuje se na okrajové podmínky zabraňující vzniku nežádoucích odrazů vln. Kompaktní prostorové uspořádání turbostrojů způsobuje, že perturbace vytvořené na vstupní či výstupní hranici oblasti přímo ovlivňují proudové pole okolo lopatek. Tento efekt nabývá na významu v souvislosti s trendem zvětšování průměru rotorů posledních stupňů parních turbín za účelem dosažení vyššího výkonu. Vstupní proudění může poblíž špičky lopatky přesáhnout rychlost zvuku a utvořit čelní rázovou vlnu, což klade zvýšené nároky na definici vstupní okrajové podmínky schopné zabránit vzniku nežádoucích odrazů. Použitý aeroelastický model využívá především energetickou metodu s předepsaným harmonickým kmitáním lopatek. řešení nestacionárního proudění je založené na Eulerových rovnicích ve dvou dimenzích, převedených do Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulace a diskretizovaných metodou konečných objemů. Nevazké toky jsou aproximované schématem AUSM+-up a pro zvýšení prostorové přesnosti metody je použita rekonstrukce gradientů metodou vážených nejmenších čtverců s omezovačem toku. Integrace soustavy rovnic v čase je řešena pomocí implicitního schématu druhého řádu přesnosti za použití lokálního časového kroku a implicitního vyhlazování reziduí. Moderní spektrální bezodrazová okrajová podmínka (Spectral NRBC) je použita pro vstupní a výstupní hranici oblasti a porovnána s dalšími dvěma metodami. Numerický řešič byl od základu vyvinut a naprogramován autorem této práce v jazyce C++. Výpočetní model je použit pro řešení aeroelastické stability osamoceného leteckého profilu NACA 0012 a tří lopatkových mříží se subsonickým (STCF10), transsonickým (STCF4) a supersonickým (M8) režimem proudění. Je ukázáno, že spektrální okrajová podmínka účinně zabraňuje nežádoucím odrazům vln a umožňuje tak přesné vyhodnocení aerodynamického tlumení i pro komplexní proudová pole. Přestože odrazy vln nejsou vždy zcela potlačeny kvůli použitému linearizovanému modelu, jejich intenzita je natolik nízká, že nemají významný vliv na proudové pole v okolí lopatek. řešení se spektrální okrajovou podmínkou vykazuje velmi nízkou citlivost na velikost oblasti, což dovoluje zachovat přesnost výpočtu i při posunutí vstupní a výstupní hranice blízko k lopatkám. Oproti tomu použití okrajové podmínky s horšími bezodrazovými vlastnostmi může vést ke zcela nesprávnému vyhodnocení aeroelastické stability

    B2B communication strategy for Adwheels

    The thesis is about creating a suitable communication strategy on business-to-business market for marketing start-up called Adwheels, which offers large-format advertising on truck trailers for its clients. The main goal of the strategy is to sell at least one “Adwheels Full” service (a combination of 2 tarpaulins and a rear-door sticker on a advertising truck trailer) within the first month and a half of the campaign. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is intended to define the terms within the communication strategy. Among other things, the key sales techniques and communication mix in the B2B market are described here. The second part deals with situation analysis. The "truck advertising" service is defined together with unique selling arguments, analysis of direct and indirect competition, SWOT and PESTEL analysis and analysis of target groups. Adwheels' market position is determined based on this analyses. The third part of the work is dedicated to the creation of the communication strategy itself. We selected a suitable target group, defined the insight and then use the SEE-THINK-DO-CARE method for creating the strategy. We defined key marketing messages and designed promotional materials which we will use during the campaign. Verification of the effectiveness and functionality of the communication strategy was was discussed and approved by market experts. Because of the fact, that the author is a co-founder of Adwheels, he will personally participate in the launch of the strategy, which is scheduled for June 2021.Práce se zabývá tvorbou komunikační strategie na trhu B2B pro marketingový start-up Adwheels, který nabízí firmám velkoformátovou reklamu na návěsech kamionů. Hlavním cílem strategie je prodej alespoň jedné služby “Adwheels Full” (kombinace 2 bočních plachet a zadního polepu na reklamním návěsu kamionu) v rámci prvního měsíce a půl pilotního provozu kampaně. Obsah práce je rozdělen do tří částí. První část je určena pro vymezení pojmů v rámci komunikační strategie. Jsou zde mimo jiné popsány klíčové prodejní techniky a komunikační mix na B2B trhu. Druhá část se věnuje situační analýze. Je definována služba „reklama na kamionu“ spolu s klíčovými unikátními prodejními argumenty, analýza přímé a nepřímé konkurence, analýza SWOT a PESTEL a analýza cílových skupin. Na základě toho je určena pozice Adwheels na trhu. Třetí část práce je věnována tvorbě samotné komunikační strategie. Byla vybrána vhodná cílová skupina, definován insight z kterého poté vycházela metoda SEE-THINK-DO-CARE. Definovali jsme klíčová marketingová sdělení a nastínili ukázkové materiály, které během kampaně použijeme. Ověření efektivity a funkčnosti navržené komunikační strategie probíhá formou expertních posudků. Vzhledem k tomu, že autor je spoluzakladatelem firmy Adwheels, osobně se bude podílet na spuštění strategie, které je naplánované na červen 2021
