The sequencing process generated by the cerebellum crucially contributes to social interactions
No full textThe capacity to understand another person’s emotions, intentions, beliefs and personality traits, based on observed or communicated behaviors, is termed social cognition. During the last decade, social neuroscience has made great progress in understanding the neural correlates of social cognition. However, because the cerebellum is traditionally viewed as only involved in motor processing, the contribution of this major part of the brain in social processing has been largely ignored and its specific role in social cognition remains unclear. Nevertheless, recent meta-analyses have made its crucial contribution to social cognition evident. This raises the question: What is the exact function of the cerebellum in social cognition? We hypothesize that the cerebellum builds internal action models of our social inter-actions to predict how other people’s actions will be executed, what our most likely responses are to these actions, so that we can automatize our interactions and instantly detect disruptions in these action sequences. This mechanism likely allows to better anticipate action sequences during social interactions in an automatic and intuitive way and to fine-tune these anticipations, making it easier to understand behaviors and to detect violations. This hypothesis has major implications in neurological disorders affecting the cerebellum such as autism, with detrimental effects on social functionality, especially on more complex and abstract social cognitive processes. Because the fundamental anatomical organization of the cerebellum is identical in many species (cerebellar microcomplexes), this hypothesis could have major impacts to elucidate social interactions in social animals

No full text2008 m. atlikti archeologiniai žvalgomieji tyrimai 4,9 arų dydžio sklype Klaipėdoje, H. Manto 14, 16. Sklypo vieta yra istoriniame Krūmamiesčio rajone, kuris XIX a. dar vadintas Naujamiesčiu (vokiškai Neustadt). XVI a. dešiniajame Danės krante driekėsi pievos ir ganyklos, kurios amžiaus pabaigoje buvo prijungtos prie miesto. Priemiestis kūrėsi iš lėto, dažnai būdavo sunaikinamas antpuolių metu. XVII a. čia gyveno daugiausia neturtingi lietuviai. XVIII–XiX a. rajonas kentėjo nuo smėlio pustymų. Teritorijoje tarp dabartinių S. Šimkaus, S. Daukanto ir K. Donelaičio gatvių XVIII a. minimos 36 sodybos, kurios telkėsi prie pagrindinių kelių (Tatoris J., Senoji Klaipėda. Urbanistinė raida ir architektūra iki 1939 m., V., 1994, p. 46–47, 50). Sklypas H. Manto g. 14, 16 anksčiau archeologių nebuvo tyrinėtas, kaip ir gretimi sklypai. PV dalyje prie H. Manto gatvės stovi į NKVR įtrauktas XVIII a. pabaigos – XIX a. pradžios pastatas. Kitose Naujamiesčio vietose žvalgomųjų tyrimų arba statybos darbų metu būdavo fiksuojamas XIX–XX a. kultūrinis sluoksnis, kartais aptinkama XVII a. radinių, o išsamūs archeologiniai tyrimai nevykdyti.In 2008 a field evaluation was conducted on the plot at H. No full text2009 m. gegužės mėnesį MLIM Klaipėdoje, H. Manto gatvėje 11, 4216 m2 dydžio sklype vykdė žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrimus. Jie atlikti sklypo R pusėje, prie H. Manto gatvės Tyrimai vykdyti sklypo detaliojo planavimo proceso metu pagal atliktus sklypo istorinius bei esamos planinės medžiagos kartografinius tyrimus. Tyrimų tikslas – nustatyti prie H. Manto (buvusios Liepojos) gatvės prieškariu stovėjusių pastatų vietas bei datuoti surastą kultūrinį sluoksnį. Likusioje sklypo dalyje, kur šiuo metu tebestovi buvęs „Vaivos“ kinoteatras, archeologiniai tyrimai bus vykdomi ateityje, nugriovus šį pastatą.In 2009 the MLIM conducted an evaluation (10 test pits, a total of 53 m2) at H. Manto Street 11 in Klaipėda in search of the locations of the buildings that stood on H. Manto (formerly Liepojos) Street before the war. Fragments of the foundations of two prewar buildings were found during the evaluation. Some of the test pits contained a cultural layer about 30 cm thick and dating to the second half of the 18th–19th century

No full text2007 m. liepos mėnesį UAB „Archeologiniai tyrimai“ atliko žvalgomuosius tyrimus Klaipėdoje, sklype H. Manto g. 19. 800 m2 dydžio sklypas yra senamiesčio urbanistinėje zonoje (U16). Archeologinių tyrimų metu maždaug 170 m2 dydžio teritoriją sklypo R dalyje užėmė dviejų aukštų pastatas, o likusi sklypo dalis buvo neužstatyta, tačiau paversta gretimame sklype vykstančių statybų aikštele. Šioje Klaipėdos vietoje sparčiai kyla nauji pastatai, bus užstatytas ir šis sklypas. Prieš pradedant statybos darbus sklype numatyta atlikti archeologinius žvalgomuosius tyrimus. Pagal išlikusius senuosius miesto planus, dabartinės H. Manto g. V pakraštyje XVIII a. buvusios kelios sodybos, o priemiestis intensyviai kūrėsi tik XIX a. 1860 m. plane dabartinių S. Daukanto ir H. Manto g. sankryžos ŠV dalis bei H. Manto g. V pusė jau užstatytos. Ties Liepojos vartais (S. Daukanto ir H. Manto g. sankryža) yra buvusios nusikaltėlių kapinės, tačiau tiksli jų vieta nežinoma (žr. J. Tatoris, Senoji Klaipėda. Urbanistinė raida ir architektūra iki 1939 metų, V., 1994, p. 107). Anksčiau vykusių archeologinių tyrimų metu šioje Klaipėdos dalyje nepavyko aptikti XX a. nesuardyto kultūrinio sluoksnio ir ankstesnių nei XIX a. radinių. 2005 m. sklype H. Manto g. 31 žvalgymų metu aptikti tik XX a. sluoksniai (žr. ATL 2005 metais, V., 2006, p. 475). Panašūs buvo ir 2006 m. Pievų Tako g. vykdytų žvalgomųjų tyrimų rezultatai (tyrėja I. Masiulienė). Tyrimų metu buvo iškasti du 2x2 m dydžio šurfai. Šurfas 1 buvo iškastas pailgo sklypo V gale. Jo vidurio koordinatės LKS 94 koordinačių sistemoje: X – 319564,98 ir Y – 6179433,17. Beveik iš karto po statybininkų užpilto betono sluoksniu šioje vietoje pasirodė lauko riedulių eilė – gyvenamojo pastato pamatai. Akmenys neskaldyti, buvo sukrauti bent dviem aukštais ir surišti gelsvos spalvos kalkių skiediniu. [...]In 2007 an evaluation was conducted on the plot at H. Manto St. 19, Klaipėda. Two 2x2 m test pits were excavated on the 800 m2 plot. The foundation of a residential home was discovered in test pit 1. An intense cultural layer was discovered at a depth of 60–85 cm in test pit 2. It contained kaolin pipes produced at the Rostin workshops in Prussia (now Roscin, Poland), household pottery, glass bottle shards, and iron nails. The finds date to the late 18th–19th century

No full textIl "manto rosa", un grande telo prodotto a partire da sacchi della spazzatura dai ragazzi del workshop nell'ambito del progetto didattico internazionale "Inhabiting the territory", è stato portato per un giorno in giro per la città di Palermo, un'installazione a grande scala che ha consentito di fare interagire sorprendentemente un manufatto, in origine povero e costruito in poco tempo, con la dimensione urbana e sociale della città. Dappertutto la festa ambulante che ha coinvolto la città, i suoi abitanti e il gruppo di lavoro, è stata l’occasione di sperimentare e misurare la forza del proprio lavoro in pubblico, dentro spazi con regole autonome e difficili da infrangere, per innestare la propria voce singolare nel palinsesto urbano, lasciando intravedere forse spiragli per nuovi possibili livelli di comunicazione.Thanks to the same students that designed and built it, for one day the "pink mantle" becomes one of the materials of the city, moving inside it, trying out different relationships and roles. The mobile party which involved the city, its inhabitants and the work group, gave the opportunity to experiment, and measure the strength of its work in public; in particular, within spaces with their own, hard-to-break rules, in order to graft its peculiar voice on the urban palimpsest, thus opening a window for new possible levels of communication
