Latridius alexeevi Bukejs, Kirejtshuk & Rucker 2011
Latridius alexeevi Bukejs, Kirejtshuk & Rücker, 2011 = Latridius usovae Sergi & Perkovsky, 2014 syn. nov. Latridius usovae Sergi & Perkovsky, 2014 (from Rovno amber) is proposed as junior synonym of Latridius alexeevi Bukejs, Kirejtshuk & Rücker, 2011 (from Baltic amber), based on original description of L. usovae and examination of holotype of L. alexeevi [deposited in ACAB]. Note. Morphological characters (e.g. proportion of elytra, shape of pronotum, curved metatibiae) mentioned in differential diagnosis of L. usovae are vague and are variable within species as sexual dimorphism. Description by Sergi & Perkovsky (2014) pertains to male of L. alexeevi.Published as part of Reike, Hans-Peter, Bukejs, Andris, Arlt, Tobias, Kardjilov, Nikolay & Manke, Ingo, 2017, Phase-contrast synchrotron microtomography reveals the internal morphology of a new fossil species of the Corticaria-sylvicola - group (Coleoptera: Latridiidae), pp. 578-590 in Zootaxa 4242 (3) on page 587, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4242.3.9, http://zenodo.org/record/37697

Corticaria Marsham 1802
Genus Corticaria Marsham, 1802 Remarks. The species under consideration belongs to the subfamily Corticariinae based on the following combination of characters: (1) head without a furrow, (2) procoxae not separated by a prosternal process, (3) lateral margins of pronotum rounded and denticulate, (4) elytra pubescent. The following characters support referral to the genus Corticaria: (1) antennae 11-segmented, (2) abdomen with 5 visible ventrites.Published as part of Reike, Hans-Peter, Bukejs, Andris, Arlt, Tobias, Kardjilov, Nikolay & Manke, Ingo, 2017, Phase-contrast synchrotron microtomography reveals the internal morphology of a new fossil species of the Corticaria-sylvicola - group (Coleoptera: Latridiidae), pp. 578-590 in Zootaxa 4242 (3) on page 581, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4242.3.9, http://zenodo.org/record/37697
