No full text: We present the case of a rare and serious complication of vomiting. A 25-year-old man presented to the emergency room with acute abdomen secondary to haemoperitoneum. There was no evidence or history of trauma in the previous 30 days. The only antecedent was a history of violent vomiting in the afternoon. Laparoscopy showed a massive haemoperitoneum secondary to avulsed short gastric arteries
