Bembidion perspicuum LeConte 1848
Bembidion perspicuum LeConte, 1848 Ochthedromus perspicuus LeConte, 1848: 466. Type locality “ Rocky Mountains ”. Holotype male, in MCZ (type number 5510), external structure and aedeagus examined. Bembidion acomanum Casey, 1918: 59. Type locality Jemez Springs, New Mexico, so restricted by Lindroth (1975). Lectotype female, designated by Lindroth (1975), in USNM (type number 36916), examined. Bembidion excursum Casey, 1918: 59. Type locality Tucson, Arizona. Holotype female, in USNM (type 36915), examined. This species is known from Texas, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, and Oregon. Its range in México has not been examined. Specimens from northern California and Oregon are dark, with only elytral apices being pale.
