Mack states that he encloses letters to Pennsylvania Representative Walter and Senators Scott and Clark to urge them to follow McClellan\u27s "expert leadership in pending labor bills." Trained as a lawyer, McClellan served as an aviator in the Signal Corps of the First World War, embarking on a political career in both the House and the Senate during the years 1943-1977. He served notably on the Select Committee on Labor Management Relations (during the Eighty-fifth and Eighty-sixth Congresses). Involved in musical organizations in Bethlehem, Mack became the 7th Choir President for the Bach Choir of Bethlehem in 1961. He served as Festival Chair for the 1964 Moravian Music Festival
