Coccinella boletifera Fauvel Coccinella boletifera Fauvel, 1903: 325. Coccinella bolitifera: Korschefsky, 1931: 508 (misspelling). This species has been quoted as an endemic one (Fauvel 1903; Korschefsky 1931, as C. bolitifera), but it is only known from the type specimen, which has an unknown locality. This Coccinella seems to be a color variation of Coccinella transversalis Fabricius and therefore may be considered a synonym.Published as part of Nattier, Romain, Jourdan, Hervé, Mille, Christian & Chazeau, Jean, 2015, An annotated checklist of the Coccinellidae (Coleoptera) from New Caledonia, pp. 301-331 in Zootaxa 4058 (3) on page 321, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4058.3.1, http://zenodo.org/record/23698
